  1. I got a HTC 510 today and seeing the same issue. How'd you fix it? And pointers would be helpful. I got it working finally. Had to follow the sim unlock steps described here -- http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2682242 So to summarise the steps 1. Bootloader unlock 2. Flash write protection removed kernel 3. Root it 4. Follow the steps in the above thread for sim unlock. 5. Rename HtcOMADM_SPCS.apk to something else to disable the activation popup. Everything working with RCDMA OMH SIM.
  2. RGERUC wont work on Tribute....use only RECRUC06 Precutted micro or MINI sim Yep, I can confirm the same. The new RGERUC sims are not working with Tribute. So if someone is going for new sim get the precut Micro as all the mini sims being issued now seems to be RGERUC series (Went to two Reliance World stores one in Kochi and one in Bangalore) YMMV

  4. Facing the same problem. I first thought it was just because the phone's meid had some issues. You could pay 6 USD and get the SPC from eBay.
  5. Where did you see this? Any online page available showing these plans?
  6. Which item did you order? From where? I placed an order from BestBuy through iShop on Jan 6th for Tribute, then they started giving stories about the package being misplaced etc. Finally after few emails back and forth, they just bought it from Amazon and sent it. Received it on Feb 2nd.
  7. Yes, BestBuy is a hit and miss. Sometimes they buy, sometimes they don't.
  8. ^ Will it work with an OMH Sim? Yes you will get a normal OMH Sim, or you can just use an adapter.

  13. Thanks, that is what I was seeing as well. Although I don't have Tata or MTS to confirm. On Reliance, if you make it Rev B, it connects in 1x mode only. Weird. Any idea why guys?
  14. ^ Wouldn't you need DIAG mode enabled for that? I believe DIAG mode is disabled by default and need the SPC to enable.

  16. is this in Indian context? will latest RCDMA SIM works in GSM phones straight away? i dont think so I guess he is referring to World phones with both GSM and CDMA radios and hence would support both.
  17. Can we apply these packs on a normal OMH connection? Anyone tried?
  18. Did you enable DIAG mode and install the LG USB drivers?
  19. ^ Please do the steps with the RUIM removed and in NV mode.
  20. Request for reactivation of EVDO. You can try sending an email to netconnect.broadband@relianceada.com or submit a request through the InstaCare App.
  21. You may ignore that error, it is not able to write a specific NV ITEM, shouldn't be an issue.

  23. hey congrats.. it would be great if you can share how you achieved it form the beginning like how to make it RUIM only mode, activate and make it working for wifi hotspot..   24. ^ You need to deactivate the device and remove it from your Ting account first. Wait 30 min or so, and then the Sprint site would accept your MEID.
  25. Changed the mode to RuimOnly, inserted Reliance RUIM and it worked right away. Connected to EVDO and the WiFi hotpot works without any further changes. AWESOME! But the Handsfree activation thing popped up again after I restarted Probably cause I changed the SIM?
