  10. Just to use calling facility,I dont think you require to get the meid registered or anything. Just wipe the phone completely and pop in the cdma SIM. You need to wipe the phone for it to latch to cdma network.

    all you can do is use it for incoming ONLY for now, thats it which you can make it work without R SIM too. if you need a workaround for that, I can write it down.
