lol!!! no beeps....... You can configure 3 numbers simultaneously(2 CDMA+1 GSM) but just 1 will work at a time. Swiching between CDMA and GSM, you wont need to restart the phone but switching between CDMA phone will need to be restarted as you will have to change the NAM. Battery life is really good.

TP2 is the best way to get the voices saved both the caller and the reciever. Tried and tested. Same software doesnt work well with diamond I wonder why but TP2 is flawless. Contact Hitesh bhai if you need one.

The thing is I never mind switching to custom roms and I am already on them. There is no single phone that I have is running on stock rom each one is flashed with a custom rom and devices are much more stable than before, Including EVO. @ scorpionking, if you are not rooted I dont think you will have any issues with the update. Still if you want to be on the safe side, just wait for a day or two and look at the reviews about update on ppcgeeks or xda-dev.

if that would have happened it would have toasted the phone completely with no power whatsoever, whereas he can get in the bootloader and can read the radio version as well. I strongly doubt that would have happen.

Doesnt seem like a harware issue as you are able to access both bootloader and recovery. Why dont you try both the latest rom and previous rom?

I am using v. 3.11.36 on my vista machine and it works well, I will suggest you try the same.

If you can get into bootloader, just flash with the official rom and that will sort out the issue afaik.

^ You are mistaken, you cannot transfer all contacts from Nokia through bluetooth at once, but will have to send one by one. I second Hitesh bhai's way, its best way for any smartphone to sync contacts.

DK is reffering to the hardware compatibility and not the software compatibility, you could expect froyo but that wont allow you to run heavy files without converting.

Knowing the name is not a big deal, I can copy paste the names from my cars. Further you can easily be in contact with them through WWW, its not an issue at all now days.

Rooted my EVO and now running on fresh0.3 rom, I had a flaw which is corrected, phone sometimes used to stop responding to my touch when I received calls and had to wait for it to disconnect.

Re-filling cost isnt too much at all, after few thousands print, you will have to change the chip placed on the toner which saves the paper count and doesnt allow you to print any further. Inkjet uses liquid ink which, if not used for long, gets dried out as a result prints are not possible at all or with a very bad print quality, where as laser printers use powder as ink which sticks on paper with help of heater so there is no scope of dryness/clog. I hope that could clarify a bit.
