my voice calls are working perfect... The Only Issue is texts. But I was saying when I recieve the Texts, It also shows the voice Message error with the force close Messages.

Hey! I have found the resolution to this issue as far as my Mind Strikes. Connect your Phone to your PC in DAIG mode. Open QPST- look for Brdcst SMS tab and make User-Deactivated and Carrier Disabled. I hope that should solve the issue Please Thank If You Like. Will Help Me Going!

I have started receiving another Error: Error V08, Voice Message will be delivered when Data Services will be available. Tried to change the 1st SID to different but no gain. One thing, I did it from the phone itself. So it means when I tried there were two same SID in the phone at different Numbers. Another thing, I am using Touch Diamond with same SID/NID and its working all fine!

In QPST>CDMA Tab> Terminated Registration, HOME SID, Foreign NID Foreign SID all are checked!

^ Sir just checked with QPST as the phone just shows the 1st one only and all the SID/NID are configured properly. What else should I look for apart from this?

Are you talking about a bluetooth headset or is it regarding the wired headset?

Update! Purchased a new Tata postpaid connection of Haryana and activated it while the phone being in Mumbai with Sadikk bhai! It was all working fine their on Reliance as well on Tata, messages issue was no more there. Now when the phone was back in my hands, the same issue started all over again. Same network went off and on and force close message. Last day when I went Delhi, I was able to receive messages and felt happy thinking the issue is resolved, but when I am back in Haryana, the same issue comes again! Kindly Suggest what to do!

Oh! Now I get it! Because my Diamond was not hardspl'd till you told me to change the esn! Now its all cleared. thanks!

One confusion! What if we root the phone before going to the official 2.1 rom? Will it stay rooted or will it be unrooted and we will have to wait for the pros' to crack it?

In one other forum I was told that MTS doesnt use Tata network in roaming. Could you please clarify as if what kind of tie-up exists between the two? I was in Chandigarh, when I tried to connect to Internet, it was not catching any signals whereas my Tata phone was working perfect!

Are you sure about the 300 characters thing? I dont think there is any option to send more than 160 characters in single text as we could do in GSM phones. Gurus! Clarification needed here!

@malviyai To enter bootloader mode to see version, with the device turned on, press and hold the volume down button along with the power button, then press the reset button hidden under your battery cover. if you think you will need three hands to do that, you could even try this. With the device completely off (not just in sleep mode) press and hold the power and volume button till you see the tricolor screen. A tricolor screen will be on your display showing all the details about the SPL. Let us know what do you see there and we all could help you out with the further steps. Sadikk bhai is quite busy with his work. I do agree that he needs to improve his after sales services, but still he is doing much more what his body allows him to do! Dear you should have known that even if you buy mobiles with bill from other country, the warranty is subject to be applicable to that specific country. No company provides worldwide warranty of phones!
