u dont require any antivirus for palm os .....dont waste ur ram by loading one ( none of my phones ever had any antivirus though i surf very often) .

O2 today exclusively unveiled the XDA Zest, adding another Xda phone to its expanding range of O2 branded handsets. The new PDA is the first O2 XDA to be made available on Pay&Go, but it will be available on Pay Monthly plans as well. Manufactured by Asus, the O2 XDA Zest naturally runs on Windows Mobile OS v6.1 and has a large 2.8” VGA TFT display. As you already knew from the header it boasts Wi-Fi and GPS (wih SiRF Star III chipset) plus a trial version of CoPilot Sat Nav app with full UK and Ireland maps. The O2 XDA Zest has a fast Marvell TavorP 624MHz processor, 128 MB SDRAM and 256 MB Flash ROM. The tri-band GPRS/EDGE phone has also 3G support and HSDPA connectivity. The 3 MP autofocus camera, secondary video call camera, Bluetooth v2.0 with A2DP profile, microSD card slot and MP3 player completes the specs list. O2 Xda Zest will be on sale in O2 stores and online at o2 from 17th November 2008. It will be available on O2 Pay&Go priced at £249.99 and for free on certain O2 Pay Monthly contracts.

Microsoft has released a patch for Windows Mobile 6.1 that fixes problems with sending email in case of an unspecified SMTP server. Here's what they say: This behavior is associated with a feature that is introduced in Windows Mobile 6.1. The feature allows for mobile operators to specify an alternate SMTP server name that is used if e-mail messages cannot be sent by using the user-specified SMTP server name. If the mobile operator does not specify an alternate SMTP server name and if the Windows Mobile 6.1-based device does not connect, the e-mail account is corrupted and cannot send e-mail messages. The patch can be downloaded from Microsoft's website and installed either from the ActiveSync connected PC or directly on the device. Here's the link to the page with more information. well i m testing skyfire beta for windows mobile and it is working gr8 .......just like opera mini and it has advatage over it in having flash....... @hetal waiting to know about hows the browser of android in terms of page rendering

kam chal jayega......r u intersetd in photography then my frend a digital camera is a better choice ........it has 1.3 mp camera ......even mogul has 2mp camera but i dont see nay difference between them

if u want a smartphone and dont want to invest too much then only two words PALM TREO

just get life ....get a treo u will enjoy it and forget about a 3.2mp and wifi thing ......experince the power of palm os

@ketan bro its MUFADDAL OR Dr. MUFADDAL not Dr. M ALSO wma and wmv cant b run on palm......they r not supported by default on nokia symbian but if u use core player then u can enable playing both wmv and wma files i dont know for some reason core player unlike in symbian has no such similar setting for its palm vesion .....u can run most codecs but not wma or wmv aslo thre is no setting to enble the sme but y not try kinoma player i think it supports wma

@harshal bro sometimes the solution is lying in front of u .....as dhiraj suggested just use the silent toggler on top of the device thats wat even i do ........ ( dhiraj even iphone has a silent switch on the side just like treo) u can use ring profile posted @ketan ptunes in the best for music......but if u want more use core player i have poetd the latest version of it a few pages back plz search for it as far as videos r concerned core player is the best as u can simply load on the videos to your device without the need to encoding them ...but lemme tell u one thing the resolution of the screen is very odd it has 1:1 aspect ratio so wtcing videos is no fun on treo....( i use my iphone for videos)

what r ur requirements.... best option right now is palm treo 755p .....ask sadikk about the availibilty ( if web browsing is not what u r looking or)

Dude i need a ltl help frm u... installed card reader and when i start it it shows the card and 3 options etc... and then ENABLE now when i clik enable... i dnt know but i guess the prog runs... shows reading reading..... thats it...NOW wat?? i mean what do i do next... if i press some other buttons on phone it shows RU sure u wana disconnect... Disconniectin mgt cause data corruption.... How do i copy mp3 files in here??? or creat another folder as music files ( as u askd me to do in last post) If you could kindly guide me through it... it wld be a great help.............. just tap enable....it will read ur card at the same time in your desktop u will see a new external drive ......it will b your memory card....just go in that external removable drive ( might H:\ G:\ OR ANY OTHER LETTER) and just create a folder music or whatever and put all ur music files thats it.......once u finished just click disable to safely disconnect ur device .....it is so simple

first off you cant turn off your treo completely.....it is meant to b a pda.... did u try using the latest version of opera mini.....the problem with treo is that it often looses connection....when this would happen just use soft reset ... yes you can add music on phone ...there is a s/w for that which creates virtual drives on your phone memory which u can use ....but my question is y u wanna load your phone memory unnecessarily with songs....rather store them on memory card like others....leave phone memory as free as possible u can get a 8gb micro sd crad....just look for a card with an adapter.....mostly if u buy a sandisk 8gb card it comes bundled with an adpater so u have to do nothing but to put the crad in the dapter and then in your mini sd slot for your rworld yes u can get that just set your network for rworld and use proxy in the browser....but i think u will b charged as per rworld rates as far as call drops r concerned this phone is one of the best i have seenwhen it comes to signal reception and call quality ....though the network fluctuates i havent had nay call drops till now ....infact my nokia had few call drops but my treo is as robust as it can get ...dont knwo y u r experiencing this problem

@arun though it has been mentioned time and again......what about putting palm as a seperate topic rather tha in other handsets ....also the number of palm users r increasing by the day......when v have seperate topic for htc than y not for palm treos

well they already have beta testers here in mumbai and in delhi.....i thnk they have mostly chosen relinace employees as beta testers

thats what WEB BROWSING is a fatal drawback of treo....n i guess it is also expected as the development of this os was stopped longtime back so it stands no chnace of standing in front of todays devices in terms of browsing .......but the os is very very fast and also the touchscreen is very responsive.....having a mogul on my side i could actually make out how much better responsive the touchscreen of treo 755p is .......... secondly even if u browse thru blazer or through opera mini both lack flash......with skyfire ( flash) mogul just rocks,,,,,,i just like the browsing on it after my iphone....
