u can change the prl form cdma updater .........did u try loading the prl .... i m not sure it could done (my first palm device) ......if u could reflash your phone with the firmware once again.......dont restore the nv back up( which u have taken before flashing) ......instead after flashing just take nv backup change the parameters( esn spc) ...n retsore in bootloader mode ( in short what i mean to say is start everything from square 1)......

now even videocon!!!!!!!!!!!! i think now due to a lot competition customers r goin to get dth at lot cheaper prices.........why did i buy tata sky

@gary did u try to take the nv backup file and run it through hex editor ........and editing the parameters accordingly and flashing your phone again with the edited nvbackup file

@gary bro who have confugured your phone /whom did u get it from ......did u see the screen shots i posted .... @akalmand i have snced my palm with outlook 2007 n it works fine no probs but if u have troubles then u can use AGENDUS . download it from HERE it wil give u a demo code and a demo copy and then register with the solution .... attaching the same ......also as far as multitasking goes it has been discussed here lot of times traditionally palm lacks multitasking/mutithreading........if u go from one application to another the previous aplication wil close by default.......however ptunes/mail/ work in the background.......but with certain third parties u can get some basic multithreading.......read the previuos few pages i have posted some applications regarding the same @chetan udmh is unlimited dynamic memoryhack ..........it simply extends your heap memory so u can run those high memory ( more than 3/4mb) demanding games and applications UDMH.zip AGENDUS_SOLUTION.rar

i second the above statement...whats the point of iphone 3g when u dont have 3g here and by the time it comes apple will b on its way of releasing new version of iphone....so its better to stick with iphone 2g ...........even i m using iphone 2g since last yr dont feel like upgrading to iphone 3g coz its useless u get all the features except for gps ...... also as far as gps goes just recently 3rd party gps dongles have been made available for iphone 2g for 50$.......

while travelling obviuosly your battery will get drained as your phone will search for network ......ifthis is the new phone u got it will take a few charge cycles to get the full capacity of your battery......also this is a win mo phone so dont expect much juice out of the battery

first off it is not advisableto use a turbo sim to unlock ...software solns is the wat to go turbosim simply is a sim card holder in which u place your sim and insert into device ....it fools your device in thinking that your sim is a test sim and the phone feature starts working afaik there is no definative turbo sim for iphone 3g ....most sites which claim to sell these r scams......and there r no reports of people using IPHONE 3G with turbo sims.....even here in mumbai if u go to heera panna or any other market they will tell u that unlocking is still not available....... everyone is waiting for dev team to come up with their unlocking solution......and they r just round the corner for releasing their unlocking soln ...so i see no need to go for turbo sim ( if at all it is available)

though it might not help people in US but then outside US those who dont want to wait for long will still go for unlocking the handset......consider the case in india where g1 will b coming early 2009 .....it doesnt matter about 3g which v still dont have ....so if u unlock it n use it on 2G network here ,it is no different also this is not the first handset ...there have been other tmobile handsets as well which were unlocked just to use outside US......and the same goes for US many of nokia handsets dont work on 3g frequencies of US but still people buy them from europe or asia and only use it on the 2G NETWORK OF TMOBILE.....infact tmobile is considered by many as theri first choice carrier when it comes to using unlocked handsets from other continents ....they have very little formality to b fulfilled to get a sim as compared to AT&T

for cdma handsets just as kshah mentioned it can b made to work on tata if u know spc .... for iphone if u r considering iphone first generation than yes u can unlock it ....as far as iphone 3g goes no unlocking solution is yet available for it......but the news is that iphone dev team has almost rigged the baseband so the unlocking solution will b out anytime soon ....so if u want u can get it ....

well then if u dont have service center no then master sms cant b used without it ......

well after reading commnets from you guys even i m tempted to buy AAO.....will find out more aout it

no news about the 3g issues ....i guess as more and more unlocking solutions will b available v will get to know about the issues but one thing to note is that 3g on tmobile is much better than 3g on at&*t atleast this is what several videos have shown when iphone was compared to g1 in reference to web browsing

it is your operator defined mssg service center number.....in nokia phones there is a way to check it ....

..just copy the KG to your desktop ....on your desktop go to start /run and type cmd ....then your dos window will open up ....type cd desktop.....then type bod2....then ur KG will open up ...just put in your hot sync id and you r done if it still doent work give me your hot sync id n i will generate the code for you

yup this is one of the biggest drawbacks of this s/w .the UI is very dull ...... in order to use it u need to set it up first...,and to do so u need to go to tools and provider and put in your sms center no ...then u can send mssgs send to phone is when u want to send ur sms ...send to outbox is like drafting it so as to send it later

yup just like iphone this is just a start just imagine unlike iphone it took geeks only a few weeks ( or days) to atleast get the radio function working on other networks....this is just the preliminary level i m sure as time passes v would have a better soln
