HTC incredible has only 512 mb rom for apps memory only rom will be used , ie only 512mb for apps 8gb is internal storage , much like 8gb sd card on the other hand EVO has 1gb rom so 1gb app memory so incredible has 512mb and evo has 1gb app memory /rom but incredible has 8gb for internal storage for media , whereas evo doesnt well the good news is that FROYO , the next update to eclair will be having the ability to install apps to sd card , so we no longer need larger rom memory

i dont care whats better buy what u like , thats the main thing , u should be happy with what u get no point trying to justify one handset over other , its personal choice BTW at first we all were thinking that EVO will launch after 3 4 months but now fact is that it might be coming in couple of months or may be next month the reason is simple apple WMDC is going to be this month and in june there will be iphone 4G , as it is sprint is loosing its customers every month , if they get EVO out late they might loose all hype and charm around EVO , which they will never want , after all they are banking on EVO for some good profits so that y they are trying hard to push launch date as early as possible the sprint EVO event is going to be held next week and we will have a release date officially declared then BTW only problem that sprint faces is that they still dont have WIMAX in major markets as as they are touting EVO as wimax phone so they need to atleast get nationwide coverage of wimax in major cities and this is what is holding the launch of EVO , but i am sure sprint will find a way around it and might just release EVO in selected markets

you cant expect playback of larger videos to be smooth the processor on corby is just tooooooo sloooowww thats why i said for normal usage its a good phone , u cant demand much from it

htc hero already has flash lite it will play flash for most of sites by defaullt

webos will never go down the drain it has lots of potential HP will make good use of it

tata has problems with akey infact tata is bit weird , in some regions tata has issues with prepaid where they ask u to provide them with akey , tata also asks for akey in some region if u give them imported blackberry for activation they have more issues with meid than with esn one of my freind asked tata to activate palm pre , the first thing they asked was for akey

old ruims will work on omh handsets but will not give data for full data services u need to use omh cards

well it took me too much time to search for samsung service centre in this region i got mine done from MASTERCARE near curry road there is a samsung service centre at lamington road SADHWANI & COMPANY 377,LAMINGTON ROAD, NEAR NAAZ CINEMA MUMBAI, MAHARASHTRA just tell them u need sw upgrade for mobile tv , they know whats that

the firmware upgrade has to be done at samsung service centre , coz the samsung studio doesnt allow online updating of cdma corby so there is no other option mobile tv charges on reliance are as per usage charge which is 60p/min though there are over 20 channels and each channel has few programmes list which have preview suscription of 0rs there is also one hollywood movie channel and espn mobile tv

well from what i understand reliance wants to put akey in full use *228 is not only for prl but for lot other important parameters like SSD/AKEY when u do *228 the handset send akey to tower switch and when u make next call it gets registered with network till now only esn and min were used by reliance network for autehtication and calling , but if my fear comes true , reliance might add akey along with esn/min to autehnticate a user on network

to all people who are getting this sms from reliance DONOT DO *228 FROM YOUR RUIM Reliance is planning to take us all down it seems they have woken up from deep sleep they are implementing AKEY authentication so they want you to do *228 from ur handset , once u do that the akey is registered and gets in use with the network so for eg , if u are using ruim and u do *228 again after reading this sms , ur programmed handset might stop working as there will be AKey mismatch

got the corby speed and using evdo now getting 1.8mbps speed the new firmware for corby speed has three things 1) mobitv 2) you tube widget 3) exchange active sync

why do people expect so much !!! OMH and blackberry ?? blackberry never provide ruim slot for cdma just like all imported sets no is injected always so no OMH will happen in blacberry
