u need to load a proper rom to get good battery life

well firstly the device the guy is talking about is simply a sim card reader with one particualr s/w rather check for cheaper chinese sim card readers and u can get s/ws for free which can read data stored in sim card , u just need to search u dont have to pay 150$ or buy oxygen manager forensics also dont hype abt customs or duties there will hardly be any customs or duties on these sim readers

what exact problem u facing if u cant see signal bars , most proably its prl issue once u load prl u shud see network bars , irrespective of whether ur phone is activated or not

nokia is gonna rejuvinate entire s60v5 interface by 2011 this is what they have stated , also they are taking ideas/opinions from people and bloggers for this till that time they want meamo to save their asses

Dont be so optimistic also yeh nokiawale bade kaminey hai they will never want their maemo platform to compete with their s60v5 ( symbian foundation) which they are developing so much so obviusoly they will strip down few things on N900 so that it doesnt compete with highend s60v5 phones and vice versa no manufacturer will ever want two phones in their portfolios competing with each other they will sort out features in such a way so as to craete two different markets , one for meamo and one for s60v5 According to Nokia reps, the new Maemo device is not meant to compete with the NokiaSymbian smartphones, but instead cater for different market needs.

atleast my knowledge limits me to use evdo from data cards on my htc diamond ... if anyone else has got evdo from their hsd cards on their moguls/diamonds let us know

^^^ rather wait for its reviews to pour in dont be nokia's early adopter aka guinea pig if u look at nokia's track record , they release a new pimped up version of their devices after few mnths after N900 they will surely release a more updted and refined version in some mnths ......that my frined is how NOKIA does business

I have seen some people having problems running hardspl on their touch pros ( greens , dkalie and counting ) now hardspl is an imp step for running custom roms and for superciding ( u know what that is used for ) when running hardspl.exe it fails to update , it can be due to variuos reasons like 1) microsoft net framework not updated to version 3.5 on ur pc 2)if u running vista 3) or for any xyz reason first try to put ur phone manually in bootloader mode , by pressing power , volume down and soft reset button , then connect to ur desktop and run hardspl.exe if still probelm persists then follow this trick Manually update ur SPL using ur sd card 1) First format card in FAT32 2) if u wanna supercid , then u will need hardspl0.25mfg 3) copy the hardspl 0.25 mfg file ( it will be RAPHIMG.nbh) to root of ur sd card 4) download the sspl manual package and unzip sspl.exe to ur phone memory on ur device 5) now using file explorer go to sspl.exe on ur touch pro and run it 6) it will pick up ur RAPHIMG.nbh from sd card and flash a new hard spl on ur phone 7) to check ur hardspl go to bootloader screen , on top it will show CMONEX 0.25spl 8) DONE now just take off ur battery and reboot note : if for some reason u r stuck at bootloader screen and cant get out of it , simply flash any rom on ur touch pro thru RUU now once 0.25spl is loaded u can supercid after supercid u need to load 0.37 hardspl to do so just load the "RAPHIMG.nbh" from hardspl0.37 folder to root of ur sd card and put ur phone in bootloader done HARDSPL 0.25.rar HARDSPL 0.37.rar SSPLManual_Raphael.zip

coz when u have an official reliance handset running on evdo , u can get the epst dump , DMU key from it then u can copy it to ur evdo enabled device thats how people in usa do it evdo is very much possible on our sprint handsets but we will be able to use it when reliance comes up with evdo for phones , which wont happen before 2010 , hopefully

evdo on sprint handsets will never be possible until reliance launches evdo for phones

i will add one very imp trick to above post ( u wont find it posted that often on net ) "SBEB" it is used when u wanna load a custom made service book connect ur device to desktop manager go to backup and restore on ur blackberry go to options>>advance options >>service books type SBEB it will say legacy restore enabled restore/load the service book of ur choice .

^^^ i tested it on my diamond 4-5 times , there is no problem at all when i run sktools it removes 0byte files , when i again install my cab it says "previuos version will be removed before new one is installed", and it installs successfully in puts 0byte file again in windows folder also i can uninstall it without any issues tried it several times before posting cab file

u can get a lot of high end good handsets if u go for imported sprint phones which can work on reliance and the best part is they will fall under ur budget of 10k

at&t and tmobile issue ur unlock code after a stipulated period for tmobile its 90days but from my experience with tmobile , when u call them they ask for the last 4 digits of ur social security no then they confirm if it was ur connection , then they give unlock code

@vishal yes alltel , telus both will work with same file set as the hardware is same its only verizon touch pro whose hardware is different (infact inferior )

^^^ i didnt get u well when u run any reg cleaner it will delete any 0byte file and invalid registry values which means ur htc_cm_guardian.exe will be deleted what i have made is a clean installer which simply installs 3 cabs and simply resets phone so u can uninstall cabs from settings its just like installing 3cabs manually , but i have put it in an installer to make things easy for everyone btw which regcleaner u using ???
