if u had installed an application quran then it installs arabic fonts just install xplore and see in e:/ and in c:/ there will be fonts files ( 4files ) if its in memory card , simply remove the card , the phone will then utilise fonts in c:/ and then delete fonts from memory card or use font router

^^^ yeah he is the lucky one to have gone with htc diamond from reliance which means he has a meid authenticated number , so lot of possibilities for him

yes diamond has fixed 4gb non expandable memory ( for me its sufficient as i dont load my phone unnecssarily and bog it down ) fyi both phones have same processor and same ram one added advantage of diamond is fm radio ( i guess its only htc cdma phone in which u can enjoy fm ) pro has 512mb rom which means u get 300 mb internal phone memory and diamond has 256 mb rom which means u get 80 mb internal memory ( but it is always advisable to use external memory for apps) both phones are best htc has to offer at moment in cdma , though its matter of personal preference when it comes to choosing between two .

y not up ur budget a bit and go for bb 8830 from sadik

its good for many prepiad users who wanted 299 service but cudnt get without going postpaid

buying a blackberry also is retrograde , the browser isnt that good the best option for u wud be either diamond or touch pro if u dont need qwerty keys then go for diamond as it is very compact and lighter than ur htc touch browsing experience is same on both phones if u need qwerty keys and u type a lot then needless to say get a touch pro

@amtrag keyboard problems in mogul are common issue but before u do anything just install this cab file and see i was using this cab and it has helped a lot of others on this forum as well HTC_Titan_KeyFix.zip

@nitink sad to hear that , but i dont find the reason to spend 1400 rs on getting something like a cover for a handset , 10k mein to touch diamond ajata hai yaar . itna protection kyu dena hai , use ur handset royally .

try to go to google.com if u see lines or boxes in place of text , then most probably the problem si with fonts have u installed any fonts or changed fonts on ur n82 ?? if yes then revert back to original fonts

^^^ yes on mogul sprint rom was best but on diamond sprint rom s**ks it only gives u 43mb free phone memory and also battery optimisations are poor also phone is sluggish on custom roms u get 80+mb free phone memory and also fm radio and good battery life of upto 2 days with moderate usage

if at all u viist htc service centre do let us know how did it go , whether they were able to fix it and for how much

^^^ u can do that in 2 mins on any custom roms , as most of them dont have htc_guardian_cm file rather someone shud put up a reliance stock rom from reliance dump , it shud be very very useful , as many people on forum have official diamond and they want to use features like fm radio and good battery life and cant change to custom roms due to warranty issue when we make reliance official rom (sort of) it would help all them for sprint diamond we already have hundreds of roms ps- if no one will do it , i will take the plunge and build it , though i havent cooked roms before , but better late than never , jab itna kuch kiya hai to rom bhi try kar lege !!!

see tata just needs spc and prl , but there are problems with *228 activation on these handsets , which require u to change connection to prepaid to get ur phone activated . plux dont think it will be cheaper , it will take atleast 7 8 mnths after its launch for the prices to come dpwn the reason touch pro is available for cheap is coz its been more than 9mnths since its release and also lot of new phones have released so prices have come down moreoever sprint will be releasing android phone in 1 2 mnths , mostly htc hero on their networks

^^^ there is no guarantee that touch po 2 will be cracked soon , these meid based handsets are tough nuts to crack rather go for touch pro which can work on reliance fully with data .

anyone who knows how to cook custom roms can make one reliance diamond rom as we already have the rom dump from official reliance htc victor , thanks to ravjeet. also the reliance rom isnt that great , mighty rom is one of the best roms out there , the reliance rom will be actually useful for people who have bought diamond from reliance and cant load custom roms due to warranty issue ( nitink).

^^^ yes u r rite its salora which is authorised by htc and sony ericsson they take sprint htc handsets . when u go , they will take it , ask u to wait for soemtime and then tell u if the phone can be repaired or not and for how much the prices are more or less same throughout india , but it also depends on availibility of parts

i still doubt this will ever be implemented by reliance , they wont like to accept handsets from other operators specially from foreign operators , otherwise who will buy their over expensive and outdated handsets . the above post pretty much explains why bsnl wants this thing to be implemented alos seeing how long it took trai and operators to come to an agreement for MNP, which still isnt implemented , may be in sep as they say. i m taking this with a pinch of salt !!! hope this happens in my lifetime
