in n series devices like n95 8gb and n82 with demand paging avialable ram on boot up was 90mb ...also even in e90 they had implemented demand paging with firmware 12 .. on my n95 8gb even with all applications open ( i literally mean each and every app open and running in background) i had 40 mb of ram still left ( though 5 -6 mb of phone memory used to consumed due to demand paging ) .....this pretty much explains why u dont need more ram in symbian

symbian has been tweaked for touch s60v5 is much better than previuos touch phones and it is still under development . very soon u will see s60v5 phones with capacitative screens ....one of them been samsung omnia HD which will be released in june/july . also gone are the days of s60v2 and s60v3 when symbian was resource hungry os with new feature packs symbian has been redefined ...its has much better ram management and battery optimisations ....this is all from my personal experience of using symbian phones side by side with palm /windows /android . the new symbian foundation os will also be like web os ..

htc HD isnt available for cdma . in my opinion 23-24k for reliance htc diamond is just too much .....

^^^ this has been posted on rimweb the day it was announced . also symbian os doesnt require ram more than 128mb .. symbian has much better memory management than windows this can be seen by fact that on s60v3 phones with 128mb ram u can have almost all apps open still u will have plenty of ram left ...so u arent goin to see more than 128mb ram anytime soon on symbian the only thing in n97 is that the arm core is clocked at 400mhz as compared to 369mhz of most devices released recently . n97 is already avaiable for pre ordering on nokia US official site for around 600 $. also it will be featuring nokia ovi store and features like kinetic scrolling .

^^^ sprint settings will come again if htc guardian file is there ...thats the purpose of it make sure the file is HTC _CM_Guardian.exe and not .exe.txt

u dont need to reinstall rom just do follwoing use total commander copy file htc_cm_guardian.exe to windows directory it will ask to overwrite .. thats all now delete sprint settings and reboot and install relmobileworld/netconnect cab files and u r good to go

i too agree with kshah ...reliance as such doesnt offer any good value for money handset ... all their handsets are overpriced . treo 755p is good option ..but only problem is browsing on phone ..it simply ****s .

why not ....we are fiddling with our own esn and not misusing some else's esn .... btw i dont know why is there so much fuss about this imei and chinese handsets ... the reality is imei can be changed on most branded handsets as well ...... no matter what ever they do chinese handset market has very stronghold in india ...

sprint official rom windows 6.1 has gps one chip already enabled ... people all around other forums have got gps by simply updating rom without gps one programming ... the thing is that it takes time to get lock at times in my case sometimes i dont get a lock at all even if i m in open ...and sometimes i do get lockin few secs ...thats y i stopped using gps in mogul . u can try to reprogramme gps one tab ... u will get lock whether u programme in qpst or not ...just keep trying . and remember one thing it will take vey long time for first lock . also in my case a very starge thing had happened when i used mogul first time i was getting gps lock indoors in 2-3 secs ... but when i changed my prl all of sudden i wasnt getting any lock for few days ... now i take around 5mins on average to get lock

sony ericsson handsets are underpowered and give less resale value .... u can look in nokia supernova series

use gps test .... in sprint rom windows mobile 6.1 gps is activated by default ... just make sure u in view of open sky to get quick lock
