i just used reverse DUN once using softickppp over usb .... my bluetooth dongle is gone bad so i cant try now .. besides i m not a big fan of reverse DUN ....even on bluetooth u have to be in range ... secondly u cant use full bandwith of your broadband connection since bluetooth speeds are limited ... i prefer wifi ....but too sad that treo755p doesnt have wifi

did ur phone have a drop ?? mostly ur screen has gone bad u might need to replace it . just try a hrd reset if that can help ( try ur luck ) on ebay u can get screens for cheaper rates ...u can get them from ebay and then take it to local repair shop and get it fixed if u take it to htc service centre they will charge u a bomb for replacing touch screen

battery usage also depends on os smartphones are usually power hungry phones and dont give u such hrs of talktime ... from my experience 930/950 mah is is good enough for a dummy non smartphone .... but if u put in the same capacity battery in smartphone it wudnt give u that many hrs .

yup nokia phones are quite sturdy ....but one thing i have learned from using so many phones is that the l touchscreen phones are never sturdy ...u shud be careful while handling them ...one fall and high chances of screen getting cracked .. the problem of nokia phones is that except for e series their phones are cheaply built ...they might be sturdy but their built quality is inferior to that of palm phones

to get rid of roaming sign just reload prl ... u have two ways of reloading prl . either use qpst 2.7 and reload prl .. or just copy the prl file to memory card then dial ##778# it will ask for msl ...type 000000 or whatever ur spc /msl ( if ur spc/msl has been reverted from 000000 then use bafmsl ) then in epst settings go to prl option and load it from the location on ur memory card

@chintan its sad to know that u lost ur treo ... i too have lost many high end phones ans i know how disgusting it feels ... @vll yes the price will vary depending on the quality of screen ... u can serach for items on ebay with free shipping ...u wont have to pay any customs on it

@vll just get a new screen off ebay .. there were links posted a few pages back ... just get a screen and go to local repair wala and u will get it done for cheap ... just pm akalmand ...he has just got his screen replaced

infact now vodafone even has zero rental plans for bb services in which u pay as per data charges ... it nice to see vodafone offering services for 299 when at one time they were offering it for 900-1k nokia email services at present is a good option since its free ... but when it will be paid service i think bb services will be better .. nokia email services need more updates and more time to get matured ... though there is one good advantage in nokia email service to use wifi as prefferd access point

to install apps from app store u dont necessarily need wifi . just go to itunes store and then app store ....once u download apps u can directly get on ur device .... to get any cracked app store application go here http://appulo.us/appdb/ donwload the ipa file for any application ...then add the ipa file in applications in itunes and then just sync ur device ,,,, to download apps from cydia on ur pc use ifunbox /cyder try to get ipa files for easier installation ... for ssh wifi is the only better option

well it is not classic strip problem ...it could be a s/w problem also nokia phones when go bricked also give a white screen .... if u have strip problem then u should be able to perform operations at least .... like when u press green call button and few other buttons u should get some response ... in my case my n95 had strip problem ...the display wudnt turn on ...but when i use to press green call key i was able to call whichever was my last number also when i use to press keys i use to hear keypad tones so it was clear that the strip only had gone bad and the phone was working .. so in ur case it could be strip problem or u will require to get your phone flashed

voip is good only if u come in wifi hotspot or else the network charges are very high in europe ....

to load files to iphone directly they should be in .ipa format .dat files need to be ssh to the iphone using wifi .... by the way if u want cracked apps from app store just visit appulo.us u will get all apps from app store for free if u want free third party apps like irealsms and others just add xsellize repository in cydia any further help u can post here

@mehulpandya have u ran a registery cleaner or any similar application ... i have also encountered this thing several times that all of a sudden the sprint connection use to pop up ... then i figured out thet when i use to run advance cleanup from sk tools it use to delete all zero byte files whhich included htc guardian dummy file .... so if by any means or aplication your dummy files get deletd u will get back the original htc guardian file in windows directory and hence u will revert back to default sprint acess point in rom

well i had got a sprint bb8830 for someone i had programmed it on cdma reliance then i popped in my vodafone sim ...then went to tcp and configured it and got gprs working ( never visited vodafone care )

^^^ resco audio recorder has problems working with icr ...vito notes recorder works best . still i have already tried both of them .. infact i was breaking my head over it for more than 6hrs .....tried everything i could but it doesnt work more than 30secs ...atleast not on sprint default rom ...may be can work on with some custom rom by the way intially i couldnt get it working on mogul ....then i tried loading a dialer of vga device and it was able to record call for 30 secs ...but that dialer was unusable on qvga screen . well i m tired of trying it now ...have lot of things to do ...will try again ...but hope is there . it works on kaiser and tytn2 for sure .

read the thread from begining ... we can get reverse dun without much issues using usb as well as bluetooth . all details is been posted u need a java engine on your phone to get those offline maps to work ... though i hav enever tried on treo 755

well before sending service book just know that your service book will have all your info abt your bis /bes though i wont misuse it using backup manager u can backup your service book ... or by just taking the backup of your device which will backup the .ipd file as well . at present i have 4 service books .... u can come online we can work it out for your 8820 /8830 easily ... if u can provide with unofficial 8830 can work out on cdma data
