well picture sms wudnt be and will never be solved .one will have to buy it but u can use the alternative sms pager .set it as default sms app . u will get all mssgs in its inbox by defualt ...it will act like ur sms application ..u can forward from there ry it and lemme know SMSPager2.3_.rar

But "http" will give your phone's radio a break between loading new pages. And since your radio transmitter ****s your battery dry real fast, you can squeeze quite a bit of extra battery life out of your phone if you tell Opera Mini to use "http" instead of "socket" in the settings menu.

even i dont think so u can do that .

well first u will have to suscribe to vodafone mobile connect .install nokia pc suite .in that will get connect to internet option. use that to configure your phone . besdies vodafone is very expensive 5p/10kb for net connect .better to go for airte or bpl (499 unlimited)

if your phone is charging via usb then ur phone is perfect no issues with it or the battery ....the problem lies with the charger that u use .u can even get a htc charger

it doesnt have flash built in .but u can watch online videos thru it.it converts .flv files to 3gpp which can be viewed then it is faster than opera mini

that is coz u have not configured net settings correctly read my post properly u need to do two things changing mobile ip and htc guardian file after which u have to delete sprint settings and select ur desired connection

@akalmand u can get the screen from ebay like he one dkalie has mentioned .and go to a repair shop ( i told u about ) and et ur screen replaced i wudnt advice u to change it personally as it requires some sort of expertise and special tools .also from my experince it is easy to dismantle a phone but difficlut to put it back ...also u have to be very careful while removing connector bands ...if they snap or break then more kharcha .....if u havent opened anyphones in past then dont try on this one so just et a screen and go to a repair shop and get it done

i agree with dkalie....the treu use of wimax would be to offer full portability rahter then been immobilised at a particular location even sprints xohm networks gives this full portability . if this particular connection has limited portability than better to stay with wired lan connections

@dkalie the handsets sadikk is selling is unlocked one ....it has all the functionalities that reliance b8830 has . the only thing is that u cant activate bb services for reliance cdma as they wont accept blackberry PIN ... but since it is unlocked one you can use any gsm sim in it and procure bis from your gsm provider and use the browser and push email/messenger .without the bis /bes the browser wont work but u can set gprs settings manually .u can install opera on the phone which will work though with gprs. @nellorian even if u get a reliance bb8830 chuck the restictions ...u still have possibilty of getting it on other cdma network and any gsm network

exactly ...we cant expect the radio and music services like the ones offered by verizon and sprint . internet radio is the only option we have

24k is still expensive for 8830 knwoing the fact that one still has to pay the premium in form of bis to use primary functions of the phone ie push email

your phone is using a custom based os....the detials of which will notbe known but your phone might be supporting java ...if it does and you will be able to install jad/jar files

but google maps will work with the gsm gprs settings ...and so the locate me feature of google maps might be working @namwalsinghal go to reliance website and downoad the s/w for ur device

are u using uts username and password also have you setup any proxy

here is what u need to o first using qpst change go to mip Tab and change ur mobile ip to simple only second and the most important step if u r using sprint stock rom is to replace ur htc guardian file for that just go to notepad and create a blank file and name it as HTC_CM_Guradian.exe. now copy this file to ur memory card ... install total commander on your phone in total commander go to ur storage card there u will see this htc guardian file u created . it will be in .txt format( since it is craeted in notepad) rename it ie ,rename it from HTC_CM_Guradian.exe.txt to HTC_CM_Guradian.exe. now using total commander copy this file to windows folder .it will replace the 8kb HTC_CM_Guradian.exe to 0kb HTC_CM_Guradian.exe ( check by going to windows folder and see whether htc guardian file is 0kb) now reset ur device now install relmobileworld or relnet connect cab files . go to settings >>connections now delete sprint settihgs and select whichever access point you want(relmobileworld/relnetconnect) ENJOY BROWSING!!!!!

u can go for nokia 3500 classic but as it is i were in ur place i wud have gone with 7210 supernova as it a bit more over 3110c with more features and superb built quality

Interesting. But looks like the card does not have storage capacity of its own. Not sure any one would go for it, if that's the case. this isnt going to work on palm treo755 there is a similar solution for wifi as well but it wont work with treo755...though it can work with treo600/650 but there are a lot of issues due to compatibilty problems with palm os from what i have read .. though these solutions work well with windows based treos these cards are not storage cards but has wifi or fm radio embeded in it and adds the functionality which is missing and SD card is a way of putting it on ur device
