same here go for nokia e71 great value for money phone...... even nokia n82 is good enough but i m not satisfied with its build quality.....though it has gr8 camera capabilities.....if camera is not ur priority e71 is awesome phone with gr8 built also the thinnest smartphone available in market ..... even e66 is good enough but no qwerty e63 shud b around 14-15 k when it is available but it is thicker and looks plasticy as compared to e71

@ketan i dont get excatly what u trying to say.....u mean when u try to edit ur contacts ur phone goes online???? basically what s happening is ur phonebook is gettin synced to an online server have u set up an exchange server ???? also did u install any third party apps which has some extensions for contacts syncing ..... if u think its coz of some third party then u could do one thing do a safe mode reset /warm reset....( take out ur battery and reinsert the battery keeping up button of dpad pressed) ....in safe mode just try editing ur conatcts if ur phone still resets then problem with ur phone settings if it doesnt reset then problem with some third party applications just check for any of settings in phone or in any third party app which u might have played with

indeed at 4k this handset is a value for money .....

u can use ringo or ringtone mangement or minitones or ringo pro i think ringo has been poted on this thread....just search around .... also if u r using phone technician u can get mp3 ringtones.....if not then u can also try this MagicTones_Hbby_1.13.zip

what error mssg r u gettin....mostly it wud b a network issue... for web browsin just radio recycle ur device ( radio on/off)......it is a problem with treo755p...v all r facing it frequently

well a yr back the edge coverage wasnt good enough ....but now i get edge evrywhere......infact at my place i started getting it 6 mnths back ........ also it is faster as compared to airtel .....but sumhow i find it to b more or less similar to reliance in speed .....(may b subjective view)

it says it is cdma based for japanese market .........but it looks a bit like a toy

excatly new connections from tata are using meid and pesn ....... dont know abt nokia ....but thanks to hetal since our moguls and htc touch can b converted to meid based ...

lol sorry for what ?????? as said earlier also for your necessities treo is the best option for u .....also dont worry about bluetooth.....it supports and works pretty well with bluetooth headsets ....i myself use bluetooth headsets most of the time....and treo wud work fine with them ...no interruptions or connection issues ......only thing is that u wont get a2dp ......but then thats not what u looking for....so the best option wud b treo cheers

ITS NOT ABOUT challenging or criticising any one "s statement ....we are all here for a healthy discussion and to learn .....even i was a noob ...no one is a born hacker /techie also these r subjective issues ...i wrote what i found abt moguland my experience and u wrote about yours .....so in the end its a subjective issue thats the main reason y i said that i recommend treo 755 to those who dont have hand on experinece with windows mobile ......

well at present this method seems to b bit ambigous .....just waiting for more feedbacks from g1 owners ...... also thiis is not my method all thanks to diy and dream kill for sending me this though there r claims that flashing with dev phone bootloader will overcome all seuirity checks at boot up much like superciding .....but lets see what feedbacks come whether or not it can sim unlock ...... also this method is goin to b futher developed as i was been informed ..... as far as rc 30 is concerned google has closed the root access with their security patch ....but one who buys phone from tmobile gets it with rc 29 ....so one who has rc 29 can update with custom rc 30 to maintain root access......also work is been done to patch rc30 1.2 to get root access..... but one thing is for sure this trick is gonna help developers/power users who have htc g1 as there wont b any need to upgarde to dev phone g1..... i will keep this thread updatd

bro i think than u have not understood how windows mobile function..... i have tried nad tested a lot ofwindows mobile devices and let me tell u one thing that i was disppointed by all of them ...so much so that i had pledged never to buy a windows mobile device again 1) the battery life was poor 2) the viewing angles ofthe screen was very narrow 3) unstable...reset button was my frend everday i ahd to do minimum 3-4 resets 4) touch screensensitivity was pathetic....u had to use stylus for most of the things 5) media functions were poor 6) typing messages on full touchscreen non keypad devices used to b a nightmare but when i tried mogul it changed it all ......i was amazed by the touchscreen sensitivity it had .....thoughit lags as usual but i can tell u one thing if u r internet feak like me than treo is not gonna take u anywhere the data connection on treo ****s and on mogul it is the best i have seen so far and always remeber one thing that windows mobile device doesnt have better memory managemnet so one basic rule needs to b followed that is close applications runnin inbackground and just do regular registery cleanups that is all what is requierd to maintain ur mogul nothing more .....u dont have to spend 12 hrs a day maintaining ur device also lemme tell u i have more than 100 apps on mogul no probs whatsoever ......i had hard ressted my device only once when i bought the phoen coz i wanted to start fresh......after that no hard resets infact not even soft resets my device has nevr hung on me and dont compare a phone to desktop .....a phone will always remain a phone ....agreed it is slow but not to that extent that ur work gets spoiled but still if sum one wud ask me i wud recommend treo755 bcoz it is a stable phone....but for web freaks i definately dont recommend treo

i think most of the people who surf net frequently wud understand "jailbroken" .....neways let it b left to others to understand dont u think iphone 3g at this moment is overpriced......infact without 3g but as i said before also iphone eats a lot of data while surfing so its better to have an unlimited plan ( like me so that u can nicely do all ur forum things from ur iphone with ease )

aapne to meri dil ki baat bol di ....... but it is best if u know how to handle a windows mobile device....otherwise just close ur eyes and go for treo755p
