this is not issue with edge in edge u should recieve calls even in data is on and if it is edge class a then u should get data also on while u on calls its only on 1x where ur phone will come busy , and thats major drawback for people who keep data on al time but on evdo calls comes when data is on , and when calls connects data stops

well still evdo rev0 and rev a wont have much effect as even on evdo rev a u will get avarage speeds of 600-1.5mbps , in real life and on rev 0 also same

@ ami1 in evdo u donot miss calls just like 3G advantage of evdo is that its on 800mhz , which means best coverage u wil get even if u inside thick walled buildings 3G will be on 2100mhz range which means though speed might be bit more but but coverage will be spotty and horrible unless more towers both have their own pros and cons

just use new versions of recovery whihc allow u to do dalvik cache wipe its needed when u load from one version of rom to another if u follow it u will never have problems in rom changes

this proves the fact that getting evdo is so messy even on official phones evdo needs to be activated by backend unless they autenticate it wont work LG people have nothing to do with it

The preparation for 3G rollout is going in full swing in reliance camp we will see full 3G with carpet coverage in Mumbai in next two months

well with data on with "xx" i get just 24-30 hrs with this battery with stock i get 18 hrs

reliance / tata evdo is better in terms of coverage and speed as compared to bsnl 3G ( god knows wht they call 3G with such crappy speeds and service)
