@vishal seth what r u planning to do ?? also my frend runs this blog this blog www.voteindia.in... there is also a motion goin on here .... also my dear frends lemme tell u one thing since past few days wrong information abt 49-0 is doing the rounds thru emails which has been even copy pasted in this thread...my frend who runs the above mentioned site since few yrs has researched about this 49-0 and this is what is the truth .... "If an elector, after his electoral roll number has been duly entered in the register of voters in Form-17A and has put his signature or thumb impression thereon as required under sub-rule (1) of rule 49L, decided not to record his vote, a remark to this effect shall be made against the said entry in Form 17A by the presiding officer and the signature or thumb impression of the elector shall be obtained against such remark. This Infers that in no case will there be a re polling in the said constituency, however the negative/neutral vote is registered and counted so as to cross check on the total number of votes polled. VoteIndia.in encourages Voters to cast a protest vote incase they feel there is no right candidate to vote for. " Here is what the Election Commission has to say on NEGATIVE / NEUTRAL VOTING: The Commission has received proposals from a very large number of individuals and organizations that there should be a provision enabling a voter to reject all the candidates in the constituency if he does not find them suitable. In the voting using the conventional ballot paper and ballot boxes, an elector can drop the ballot paper without marking his vote against any of the candidates, if he chooses so. However, in the voting using the Electronic Voting Machines, such a facility is not available to the voter. Although, Rule 49 O of the Conduct of Election Rules, 1961 provides that an elector may refuse to vote after he has been identified and necessary entries made in the Register of Electors and the marked copy of the electoral roll, the secrecy of voting is not protected here inasmuch as the polling officials and the polling agents in the polling station get to know about the decision of such a voter. The Commission recommends that the law should be amended to specifically provide for negative / neutral voting. For this purpose, Rules 22 and 49B of the Conduct of Election Rules, 1961 may be suitably amended adding a provision that in the ballot paper and the particulars on the ballot unit, in the column relating to names of candidates, after the entry relating to the last candidate, there shall be a column ìNone of the above, to enable a voter to reject all the candidates, if he chooses so. Such a proposal was earlier made by the Commission in 2001 (vide letter dated 10.12.2001). treo 750 does support wap .....but have no clue abt spice services ......u can try getting the settings of wap ....i can help u with configuring the same on ur device..... for what r u requiring wap......u r using gprs rite??????

there is nothing like best ....u decide what features r u looking for if u just need a music player and nothing else then go for ipod nano.....itis dam good player for its size and looks if u want features more than a music player or i shud say if u want the features of iphone lke touch interface/internet tablet/app store/games/third party applications then go with ipod touch but then these features come at a cost so u will have to shell more for ipod touch

nokia has no plans of a cdma n series handset .....so the only way to use n series or a sony ericsson walkman device is to wait for reliance gsm services or simply change ur serivice and shift to gsm

well faraday cage as such is not for individual cell phones........and besdies constructing a faraday cage to just block unwanted calls is not practical and inconvinient.no one wud prefer doing that ........ it has a more broader usage .....

@harshal when a phone is switched off the other person wud hear switched off message ......but however on vodafone if the phone is switched off many times u will hear phone unavailable meaage when ur phone is jammed up ,,,,ur phone wont b ale to communicate with network towers so there will b a not reachable or unavailable message....

also one thing i will add .....in my case standby time on treo755p is around 10-12 days on radio off mode ....and of treo800w as pointed out is 9 days .....this is obviuos considering that one uses 1600mah and other uses 1150 mah .....but i guess the normal phone usage of treo800w shud b slightly lesser than palmtreo755 ,there wont b a major difference

on gsm phones if u use call block feature or blacklist facility using third party softwares or inbuilt clients .....the other person will hear the first ring and then the call will disconnect or the person will hear sumthin like the "the number u r calling doesnt wish to recive any calls"( especially on sony ericsson phones) on cdma when u use balcklist feature of the handset the other person hears the first ring and then he wud hear "the number is not reachable"... so in any case the other person will get a hint that he is been blacklisted ..... so the best feature is to use network provided call blocking facilities......i dont know abt airtel but vodafone provides call block faciliity....in that when a blacklisted number calls u he/she will hear sumthin like "the number u r trying to call is currently unavailale /not reachable" wihout hearing any ring ......u can check up with airtel cc if they also have a similar service

is this the review????? if possible put in some more details like ample shots from camera/music quality with respect to hi and mid tones /wifi speed just quote time taken to load a few pages/some screen shots of the device /comment on the build quality /comfortabilty of qwerty keypad /speed of interface /third party apps compatibility /gps ensitivity/and most imporatantly battery time as that is the region of confusion for most people as many reviewers r criticisng battery life on evdo......so every1 wants to know the battery life on 1*rtt networks

well i have this headset hbh ds220..... its a pretty good headset also the earohones which come bundles along are of good quality...... as far as overall quality of music is concerned its ok.....since it has a dsp so the quality of music thru it is better than the one thru wired headphones connected to ur device directly ....also one advantage is that u can plug in ur own headphones in hbhds220 as it has a 3.5mm audio jack ... also give consideration to motorola s605....it still regret not buying it .....it has an integrated fm radio....also it has got controls for music playback kile play/pause/skipping the track which r not there in hbhds220.....and the music quality is better over hbh ds220

i cant see any reason y it cant b done on treo and mogul ....it only requires setting up a proxy server .....

well diamond as such uses a meid/pESN ....this method helps u to convert titan/vogie to meid ....but as far as diamond is concerned ......it has been possible to get over the CID locking......spc has been unlocked.....infact the pesn and meid hex also have been tried to change but the problme seems to b after resetting the device u r back to the same pESN .....so this simply shows that meid is at a location different than memory ....may be in nand radio.....so the search is on for the location of meid as and when it is pointed out ...it wont take much time from there...also if some one tries for reverse engineering it cud work .......but i guess there have been claims on some forums abt this so i guess v shud wait a bit for it the soln must b around the corner

the quality of music or reception thru fm is yet to b seen when the device launches.....but atleast u can go wireless ....there no need to carry those wired handsfree to listen to radio...... and even with using wired handsfree the reception is not that gr8.....have experinced it myself with many noikia nseries devices ..... but what effect will internal antenna have on fm reception qualty will bcom more clear once the device review starts cumin in

well even i had heard from my frends few yrs back that if u feed certain mssg cenre numbers u can get free sms....but neither i nor did they ,ever tried it.......
