cant u use bluetooth for the same ....syncing can b done thru bluetooth as well

plz b careful of what u do otherwise u will brick your device and things will b more difficult ......just try the procedure again and plz check whether u used an unlocker or not @hetal canu plz attach some dummies guide to upload as many people will try this ....and there r high chances of bricking te device if done without an unlocker or hardspl

@harshal and kshah ihave been using call recorder ....now one thing is that when i set it to record calls automatically thsi is what happens i get a call the recording starts now when i finish talking and i hang up there is a certian lag the phone takes times first the call rec stops then the phone goes to home screen .....i have attributed this problem mainly to call rec....as it only happens when call rec is used now what i have done is i have set a short cut key for callrec ...and have disable auto recording ....now when i m in a call n i wish to record i just press the side key the call rec starts ....then before hanging up i press the side key agin so the call rec stops ( again there is some lag between u pressing the side button and the call rec stopping but its ok) ......then i hang up the call without any delay or anything ...... this was the very first application that i had installed n it was behaving like that since beginig .....i thnk becoz of lack of multithreading it takes time for the os to refresh the ram when u use both the call feature and the call rec ....

@arun gr8 now atleast v can post cab files...... @amione bro i could tell you one thing after using so many phones that phones like treo and mogul arent meant for multimedia ....they r buisness and effeciency powerhouses..... the resloution of treo is very odd 1:1 .....watching videos is no fun .....but the processor and the os powers make u run video files very smoothely on the contrary in mogul u have a dual processing core but it lacks video drivers as a result or graphic intense application sr suffering .......and there will never b any solution to this though i would have gone for touch diamond considering its multimedia is too good but then ultimately it runs on the same os like mogul and one thing is dead certain it is the os which determines the overall performance of the phone not the processor speed or video drivers

well microsft has announced its plans to roll out the next update for windows mobile in early 2009 which is going to b windows mobile 6.5 trashing all the rumours about windows mobile 7 check out the screenshots from here

well i think a few days back one of our fourm members was also having a similar issue with his treo on reliance ......need some more feedback from peope exeriencing this

indeed a very stable os ......no hangs or freezes like win mo

same here for large file transfers use memory card reader u will get usb 2 sppeds to trnasfer data as compared to 1.1 speed from the phone .....

v can experince EVDO ???????????????????? sounds very tempting......if at all that happens still i think v can make it work on our handets( mogul/treo) ......what is our forum for ?

also i would add one thing watching videos is no fun on mogul due to the video driver issues ......there r a lot of glitches while watching videos .......

bro from what i know if u r getting this error it simply means that while uninstalling some of your files r still not deletd from the phone directories also there must b some invalid entries left in your registery use some registery cleaner and remove this invalid entries before installing any furher also u can try latest version of core player 1.2.5 from HERE

i hope it is light on ram like the original sprint rom ........ HETAL is it possible to get some preview of new features that u added

i think since tata is updating their prl so u r faccing this issue......its not a problem with the phone but with the network....

welll i have had n=mixed feelings with nokia service around two yrs back i had a nokia 6260 from the moment i purchesd it had a lot of issues as time went by the keypad went bad ....when i went to nokia care they told me my phone had liquid damge but what they did was while testing the phone they had removed teh entire keypad and they gave me the phone with the keypad hanging out of it saying my phone is scrap....after fighting with them for hrs they put the keypad back properly but the phone wasnt repired ....finally i got it repired from a PANASONIC dealer....nad my phone worked fine for another yr just recently my phones screen went bad ....i knew again it would b a bad experinece but i was shocked ....when i went to nokia care my requetwas procesed in less than 20 mins....the guy told me that your phone will take 2 days to get repired but i was shocked when i got a call another day that my phone was repired and that i should come and take it.....i was really surprised by the siftness of their service... very strange

yup google will b soon rolling out video chat for gtalk.....the alpha testing phase is on now ..... well was one of thieir beta testers for video chat gmail 3-4 mnths back ....i have been using it on my i mac .....works gr8 though some glitches were there along with random freezes.....hope it must have been sorted out

How do i transfer them to the card... does explorer work as drag nd drop thing??? u can trasnfer the prc from phone memory to card directly from your phone ..... just press the options tab ( lower right most button) and select copy and then copy the application from phone to card memory

kamal is rite the phone is not that bad when it comes to battery ...........it can easily go on for 2 days on a single charge.......

i cant undetsand one thing when u have a slot for memory card and when u have a memory card y so u have to install applications on phone meMory except for those which required to b installed in phone memory install that other wise all games and everything go in memory card bro palm is a very stable os its not like win mo that u load more third party and ur phone gets bad. i guess thats simply becoz the way palm os was designed......the applications run directly like exe.unlike other os where the file has lot of extensions which has to b intsalled in the different directories on phone ......its a goldn rule for any phone is to try n install the applicaions in memory card.... i have more than 60 70 apps on my palm all loaded on my memory card (except a few) and believ me my phone had never had any resets or no hard sync issues .....and i have around 46 mb free on my phone memory.........DONT INSTALL GAMES AND OTHER APPS IN PHONE MEMORY all my phoens have loads and loads of s/ws but i have never experienced any issues with nay ofthe phone s.....i just follow one rule install as much as possible in memory card and keep phone memory free.....

yup .....always try a software on your handset before uploading it here...........if it doesnt work on your device or scerw up your device then y let others also face the trouble....... whatever i post has been tested by me on my phone ........ also though i agree with dhiraj that u shud not load your phone memory with a load of software or else u cud b in trouble,,,,,,,,,,but the beauty of any os is the third party support it has and when it comes to win mo there is no shotage of apps and games what i do is i install and run all apps from my memory card .....i have hardly used the phone memory of my mogul.....its almost 90% unused.....all my games r run from memory card .....also whenevr i uninstall a software i make it a point to check my registery and to remove any invalid ntries of the uninstalled programmes........

if u r looking for a feature phone with basic things like music camera and phone then nokia 6275 will b good enough.........treo is a pda/smartphone besides fulfiiling your basic requirements of phone /music etc it also has pda functionality .........i would advice u not to go for windows mobile if u want a simple phone.......treo on other hand has a simple interface just like iphone and has a very executive look tpo it also my dear frend treo in gsm market brand new costs about 23k ......so at 10 k it is absolute value for money.....even if one waits for rim to start off gsm service u will never find a brand new treo in gsm for under 10k .......so even if one invests 10 k it is a gr8 deal one can get ....also cdma serivice is not coming to end anytime soon ........... the final choice is yours .....alll the best
