Gmail has no problems with space buddy... Pop is just another feature they have implemented. If you look closely, You'll find that, Even if you download your mail to your local pc, theres a option to leave a copy in your mailbox. If gmail was short on space, they would not have given you this option. Also, Gmail still offers this service, There is no question of "Fixing" it, EEPROM Its a service they are providing, so why will they fix it. lol Also, Why are you guys going for all these cheap softwares PGTG and stuff. Use THUNDERBIRD which is supported as a mail client by gmail itself. I've been using it and had no problems so far... Good luck...

Buggy "update Phonebook" Under "all About 93"
iiii_pretender_iiii replied to karpar's topic in Data services
No software is anyday better than buggy software. And im lucky enough not to check that option. I think i'll do it manually using lgsync. I dont trust reliance with anything they do. Once again, you get cheap develepors, you get cheap buggy software. Grow up reliance. -

You see thats because of the diffrence in the way in which firefox handles page layouts. If you notice, in IE, there is no space left to the left-side of the page. So the left-side of the page is kind of stuck to the left of your screen. Firefox handles this by leaving a margin even if the develepor forgot to do so.. So after leaving that margin, there is not enough width left for the cell to display in one line, and so it takes the last rank value to the next line to accomodate the whole table width wise. Since firefox is new, it'll take time for the develepors to adapt. I remember how much time IE 6 took to get a footing... Most web designers try to write code that'll display on any kind of browser. But some designer just wont care [ or just arent good enuf at coding ]. A good example is the reliance site as someone mentioned. I dont understand why reliance bieng such a huge company goes for cheap labour. cheap develepors, cheap call centers .... Anyways, as far as firefox is concerned, its definitely the next succesor to Mozilla. Lets stand aside and watch it grow rather than scrutinising its abilities in its child stages. As for me, its doing better than i expected at this stage of its evolution... Ps : no, i dont work for mozilla -

Something else is amiss...im not sure what.... maybe u can try downgrading to the stable 0.93 verson IF ur using the 1.0 PR..might help 17161[/snapback] Would just like to mention here that i've been using v1.0PR And had no problems what so ever so far. I have quite a bundle of themes and extensions for it. [ If not all ] So Karpar, the prob is probably at your end. V1.0 PR is much faster than the earlier versions. so rEdshiFt, You might consider upgrading. Must say, i think mozilla has hit it right this time. I've made Firefox my primary browser now. -
Best Download Manager?
iiii_pretender_iiii replied to Saurav's topic in General Technical Discussion
Hey ganesh, Try the Flashgot Plugin for FIREFOX. It provides a option on right clicking any link in the browser "FlashGOt link". If you select this, The download is automatically transferred to FlashGET, and then FlashGET knows how to manage the download [ also suports multipart ] . You can get the plugin here. -

Deepu, To turn off images, Do this : Tools -> options. Here remove the check against "Load Images". Firefox all the way !!!! No wonder it has 13 votes. The only one coming up even next to it is at 6 votes. Still Firefox at 13 is more than double the votes. -
I think it can keep time by itself. It just checks back with the tower and syncs the time in some time interval. If the tower is not available, it keeps continuing with the current time. If available, then it syncs. The difference may be some milliseconds and such. Mostly used for adjusting daylight saving time and such ...

It Is Possible To Alter The Jar Files
iiii_pretender_iiii replied to ashoksoft's topic in Technical / OS related
You are right ashok, Some midlets are working without serverside intervention. midlets like the ones resident on the phone. The astro and such things. But midlets that are downloaded from the rworld are a different story. I dont know why they wont work. Some where some validation or something. Cant figure out. My aim was to change the text and stuff within these midlets. Never succeded with downloadable midlets. Never got the time to try with resident midlets. If you can figure this out, It'd be great -

It Is Possible To Alter The Jar Files
iiii_pretender_iiii replied to ashoksoft's topic in Technical / OS related
Hey there ashok, Many people tried this thing in the earlier days. I think "code" did a lot of research on this. Thing is, even tough the games seem to work on the emulator, the refuse to run properly on the set. Whether this is a problem on our side in placing the files or if reliance has some code in place to check these files for authencity is yet unknown. Thats why the debate about CRC earlier. Hope you solve this soon ... You can contact me at for any more information. Yid : iiii_pretender_iiii@yahoo.co.in -
I guess what he was trying to say is that changig the time on CDMA hand sets is useless cause the time is automatically synced through the sync channel message. And this time is synced according to time zones. The phone gets what timezone the cell is in through the sync message channel in increments of plus or minus half hour relative to Universal Time ( like +5.5) for our time zone. Hope this helps.

Hi raccoon, Thing is dat files when renamed as .mid work on psmplayer. But these cannot be sent. Best way to ensure that its a midi file is, Open the tone in psm player. if it playes goto file -> createmidi and make sure the file limit is 4096 bytes. Save this file and send this. Lemme know if this works.
