Hi umesh, Check how many com ports you have at the back of your computer. In some motherboards like asus, there is only one com port. in that case the new com port will show up as com port 2. Also you mentioned that you installed the pc-sync software. So please check all the connectons. The pc-sync s/w should be able to detect the phone. Change the com ports and try to connect. Provide a screen shot of your desktop if this doesnt help.

R-world has started working on and off. Still not perfect tough. Sometimes its failing. "R-world not ready" I sincerely hope they are upgrading something. I think that indiatimes email thing was just a beta test. These apps will be put back when r-world goes paid maybe. Hey guys, I dont know about GTRAN as a company. But my concern is why would *anyone* spend his hard earned money on a mobile if he knows its a buggy peice. Let it be any peice. Yes vishal, I think there are still some bugs or creases that need to be ironed out. The other day, when i clickd on"view new posts", was given the error about flood control. However, it was the first time i had clicked the link. There was not reason for that error to appear Upgrading a board is not at all a easy issue. It takes a while to get the things settled down and working perfectly. BTW Arun, Why is the top banner still not sorted out ? Doesnt give a feel-good expirience like this. Hello there Kishore, Back in the earlier days, when we were still fiddling around with these softwares, I had also "succesfully" changed my esn to "0". After that i could not make outgoing calls or recieve calls. I dont know how you are able to recieve calls. However, This was two days after i had the PCB of my phone changed after blowing it off. On an advise from chirag, i had visited LG's lower-parel service center and those guys did the neccessary work within 20 mins. No hasseles. They did not ask me any questions.

I think YP-55H is the model they would give out. That seems more realistic ( keeping the ambanis in mind. ) This model is pretty lame in features and sound quality. It lacks alot of features of YP-780H. Like - - SRS WOW 3-D Surround - Scalable MP3 (Save memory size by half) - MP3/FM Encoding - OGG[Ogg vobis] (upgradeable Firmware) - Variable Equalizer (User, POP/Classic/Jazz/Rock/DBB) In short, For 10,995 rs, This piece s**ks!!! Buying a seperate mp3 player would be more advisable. Dont go for this offer unless you really really want a "free" mp3 player.

aahh, I think we all knew inside that with the current apps and services reliance was providing, There was no meaning in going paid. They would only become unpopular. They cannot risk that. Hello Freddy, Welcome to rimweb. About your problem, Can we have a few more details ? Like what data kit are you using ? Is it a branded one acquired from reliance ? What port on your PDA do you use to connect the data cable ? Also Im not sure whether reliance supports connecting to internet through their network as of yet. If they did, they would have drivers for it at their site.

Hey harry, Like karpar noted, i think this is a problem with the specific cable. prolific uses its own driver. so Could be a bug with that driver too. As for windows fixes, There were no USB related fixes after SP2 was released. Also if you have automatic update turned on, It'll notify you as soon as a new fix is released.
