Hey harry, You must learn to read pal. I did give you a solution to your problem. Try Reinstalling your USB drivers. That should solve your problem. If you tried that, tell me what happened, is the problem still appearing ?

Hello harry, The problem seems to be with your USB drivers. A USB is a PNP device. So when a computer awakes from hibernation, it pokes the usb too to get its status. Now i think that because you installed your reliance drivers [usb - serial], They are interfering or not allowing the usb to report its status because of which XP shuts down. The problem is reliance drivers are interfering with your USB drivers. Try Reinstalling your USB drivers. That should solve your problem.

Hi guys, Tis good to be back. Where have i been? Well for abt a month now, i'd taken a break from reliance and been using my bro's Sony Erricson (SE)T610. What was the SE experience like ? Fantabulous is the only word i can find. Even with rumors that its heavily weighed down with only 2Mb of storage and 80kb of VRAM, I found it amazingly smooth and fast. About the phantom issues with it not supporting double buffering and stuff. I found it'all baseless. With bluetooth and Infrared and the camera and plenty other features, I found it packed to delight. SE scores points with its open and transparent outlook to the user. You're always shown how much of your memory is used and how much is left. What you do with the left memory is totally up to you. Fit in a word file over there and it wont complain. Compare with reliance color handsets? Dont. Believe me, You dont wanna get more dissappointed. But all those things apart, im back on my trusted RD. I see nothing much has changed around here. Everythings still the same, with Gtran_rocks still going on abt "gtran is a incarnation of god" But He might be only guy who knows all the backlanes of the GTRAN world. Static's still rolling Still OWNZ "technical programming". No surprise. Chirag still trying to unearth the "all elusive information". I just dont get how he finds all that stuff. LGRD2030 does not and will never support voice ringtones. why ? cause it was not built to. It was built to handle midi tones. Midi files are usually just instrument notes. However, There are two less known instruments : "voice aah" and "voice doh" These can be used for voice notes, But thats abt it. Why arent these used in more songs? well, most songs dont have "aah-aah-aah" now, do they :'( But i've heard of hyms in midi format that do use these. So you do manage to find such midis, you can play them on the RD. enjoy.

Hey guys, Keeping up to date and stuff is ok, but when it comes to firmware updates, Its not always best to have the latest firmware. Sometimes, You'd be better off with a bit old but stable release than the latest version which may have bugs. The best thing to do is let a firmware version "soak down" and see if nyone reports any problems, :'( Then update it.

Ashutosh, what you need to understand is that reliance has got nothing to do with what happened to you. It your local area's collection agency thats to blame. Reliance customer care is the "*333" people, They have nothing to do with the call that was made to you. If you are probing a legal angle, Theres nothing you have got on them. But what you can do next time you get a call is make sure you make it clear that they are just givin you information, and that its up to you if you want to act on it. When i get a call abt outstanding bills, all i say is "Thanks for the information." BTW, it'll be fun to get back at them with what mahidhar sayz....

Mitian, The error messge you've submitted is just part of the error msg, Copy the whole thing so we can figure out exactly what happened and why it happened . If you want copy the whole thing to a text file and attach it. Also mention what Os you are using.

Hey there jacob, Reliance does not allow many things(officially), Swapping being one of them. You wanna swap the phone within the family, so its no big deal dude, My bro's been using my RD2030 for over a month now. The Bill still does come back to me, but then in the family it can be settleed, right? Only draw back, The phones no are "like" hard coded.(they are *not* hard coded) into them. And if you do decide to ditch reliance, My advice is dont ditch the phone, Once reliance gets its "schemes" sorted out, Im sure the phone can be replaced with the original LG firmware and used with other service providers. We dont mind missing a phone for our autopsies after all. heh heh.

But i guess free MMF files can be edited. code, You are trying to make a front end to psm player, So meaning you are gonna use your proggie to communicate switches and parameters to psm? am i correct? What i wanna know is, is it gonna do anything that psm cant? Plus, is the output gonna be in the lgrd2030 proprietary format or mid. hmm, So another use found for "Wavelet" directory. All i wanna say now is that dont go storing any important information in there. Cause that directory is volatile, and you may end up losing data.

Hi people, I noticed that when we save content such as a video from r-world, it get saved under the "wavelet" directory. It gets stored as three parts : 1>audio00 2>video00 3>text_00 Im not sure what the text_00 is for cause it doesnt store any data. however, What im wondering is that is there a way we can replace it with some wav file, So that we can listen to that wav file instead of the one we downloaded.... If we can then, atleast we can use it as a player, without having to put up with bad connects from r-world... Love, pretender
