  1. Reliance GSM - Problems ! Problems ! & Problems!

In here the range is good. But as soon as i get a call, and when i attend it, the range drops and as a result the call too drops. This has been happening since sometime.
  2. And they launched their service in Kerala with a starter pack of 296/- !! What were these guys thinking? Reliance is giving away sim + Double TT + lifetime validity all for just 99/- in Kerala.
  3. Does 99 include FRC or you paid 50 extra? Sorry for going OffTopic I didnt make any extra payments. Just 99/-. The SIM price was 30/- and the FRC was done for 66/- making total of 99/-. Lifetime validity + DTT + 4/- per day all will be added as a result of this
  4. Reliance Gsm - Sim Card Getting Currupt

Sorry mate !! It should have been
  5. ^^ Yesterday i took a new connection Reliance GSM connection. All i had to pay was 99/-. I got a new SIM, complete with CEP offers + lifetime validity + DTT till March 31st.
  6. Reliance Gsm - Sim Card Getting Currupt

My phone frequently hangs while playing with the R-Menu. First i thought it might be some problem with my SE k700, but yesterday i faced the same on another N6030 which had another Reliance sim.
  7. 296/- MRP starter kit?? Great !!
  8. Rgsm - New Offer On Validity And Topup

Any changes in the existing CEP sim offers after migrating to lifetime?
  9. Sorry my handset does not support edge. I had emailed them at gsmcustomercare@relianceada.com
  10. Reliance Closing Customer Experience Programme?

This is an unconfirmed insider news from Reliance. The CEP offers will cease to exist by Jan 31st (in Kerala). This is applicable only for the new customers who take the connection after Jan 31st. The existing subscribers will be getting the offers for 6 months.
  11. Same observations were noted in my CEP sim too. Messages work to Idea only. Incoming messages are working fine from every service provider. Got GPRS settings after shooting off an email + complaint to CC. The mobile model number is listed in their database, but still i was not getting the desired settings. They had to manually send it to me. Voice clarity is good. Not that exceptional. It is expected to degrade in the coming months as more subscribers are added.
  12. According to CC, the mandatory e-recharge of 50/- must be done within 48 hours of activating the sim. Else the offers will never be credited into the account.
  13. Received the 5/- today itself, although i was entitled for it from 25th Jan.
  14. Update : Like mentioned by the dealer, Reliance added up 44.5/- to my Main Balance by 5:30pm. Easy and transparent with no extra charges given to the dealer
  15. No, the seller gets profit from Reliance (40/- per SIM). I contacted the CC and they said indeed 100/- is taken for all new connections. 50/- for sim and 50/- for e-recharge. Also added that 50/- e-recharge is to be done by dealer. I contacted the dealer armed with this knowledge, and he inturn contacted some Reliance Officials. These officials were saying that 50/- e-recharge need not be done by the dealer. They are processing the new connections (activated today) and will add the 50/- within one hour. Dealer has asked me to wait until 6pm after which he will add the necessary 50/- to my account.
  16. Reliance GSM SIMs available with local dealers in Trivandrum City. Had a change of mind and bought the SIM from the nearby dealer. Retail price noted on cover is 49/-. But i was charged 100/-. On dialing *367# i get the following Now the doubts : Is the 8.50 Local Call Balance really valid for 2 days or will it be extended automatically or done something like that? I had paid 100/-, yet i dont see any increase in TT. What happened to the other 50/- which i had paid?
  17. 25/- E-Recharge is done while the SIM is given away. I have seen some people reporting that the extra amount being added up after two days of procuring the SIM.
  18. @Afsal That is indeed a pleasant news to see, but seems like my unconfirmed insider info was correct. Lucky are those who bought the sim at 10/- and 50/- Initially i was interested in procuring the sim, but @100/- now i am reconsidering my decision. Ok, the MRP is stated as 49/-. What is the other 51/- for? Did u query about that?
  19. If using Sony Ericsson phones, we can find the same using My Phone Explorer software.
  20. I am using a SIM which is on International Roaming. Hence i can switch to any available network at will. Still waiting for the official release.. Yes 49/- for SIM and 49/- additional top-up (for daily 5/- addition)
  21. An unconfirmed insider info...CEP SIMs will be distributed at 100/- in Trivandrum (WW and local dealers) BTW did anyone (in Trivandrum who is using the CEP SIMs) notice that the cell info is being displayed from today. I am getting a PalayamTrivandrum@2 displayed as cell info.
  22. Unregistered SIM problem

    Seems like http://acronyms.thefreedictionary.com/OTAF
  23. Just heard from my friend who is based on Dombivili Mumbai that the CEP sim costs 125/- over there. This is the price quoted by local dealers, not WW.
