Dude you got to tell us more like what your needs are SMS, memory/phonebook, wap, rworld, talktime duration, connectivity, price etc etc etc. Incase you can't answer them all at least give a few points on which people can advise you.

Great review guys. I want to buy this handset but can't get it anywhere in Pune for the last couple of weeks! Tanveer can you let me know how well games run on this. Especially stuff like FIFA and some shoot-em games. Is it easy to play them? What about frame rates are they smooth? And sound quality for those games.

Arun: No I couldn't. And if you try it with programs like Mail2Wap etc you'll face the same problems. But its a good thing too because I have around 5-6k messages in Gmail. Then again sometimes it just bites you in the *** coz you cant read the message later!

It's not a bug. Its the way Google works. Try it with any wap mail service or POP client service for that matter. Many interesting things to notice there. 1. You'll get your emails (inbox & outbox) in your "inbox" when you download using a pop client. Since gmail stores them all in the same place and pop cannot access any other folder apart from your inbox. 2. Items sent through a pop client collect in your gmail outbox! Thats a freaky freature!! So its not RIMs fault. But gmail is provided on handsets around the world. How do they do it? Using WAP. Not Jatayuu wap but wap that works!

With RIM involved it obviously refers to stopping all interaction!!!! I'm sure its the India'n Govt's nefarious plan to screw up Pak's telecom industry by making them get into interconnect and service agreements with RIM. Who knows, RIM might offer them a "Monsoon Hungama"!!!

I've looked everywhere in Pune but this phone in available anywhere. I think it was around for a week or so, at which point the price was 15k.... but since then... no where. All the dealers assure that it will be available in a couple of days if I paid them an advance! I didnt and none of them have it! What about you guys in other cities... whats the stock there like?

Man BSNL has become a BIG CHEAT too! I say we tie them to stakes and burn em! Huge half page colour add that says "RATES HAVE BEEN SLASHED BY 50%"! No where does it mention the 400 MB download cap. I think since Mukesh left RIM he might have become an advisor to BSNL!
