How To Remove Partially Installed Softwares?
anujit replied to drali's topic in General Technical Discussion
Or just reinstall and then uninstall it. -
Of course this is in Reliance Communications name. And that involves more than just Infocomm. Wonder how Infocomm is doing by itself! MUMBAI, February 21, 2006 Reuters India's Reliance Communications Ventures Ltd., the spun off unit of Reliance Industries Ltd. (RELI.BO: Quote, Profile, Research), said on Tuesday that its net profit for the quarter to December stood at 3.10 billion rupees ($70 million). The company, which holds former Reliance group's telecom interests, and is now controlled by Anil Ambani, said revenue for the quarter was 33.27 billion rupees. It did not provide comparable numbers for the previous year as the company was not then in existence, a statement said. Reliance Communications Ventures is expected to begin trading on stock exchanges in the second week of March. Reliance Industries Ltd. (RELI.BO: Quote, Profile, Research) spun off its telecom interests into a separate company as part of a settlement between brothers Mukesh and Anil Ambani, who were disputing control of group's assets. The undivided Reliance Industries held oil and gas, power, petrochemicals, finance and telecom businesses valued at about $29 billion. But the settlement resulted in elder brother Mukesh gaining control of the energy and petrochemicals businesses, while the rest went to Anil. Reliance Communication's results include Reliance Infocomm Ltd., the CDMA wireless operator, Reliance Telecom Ltd., which operates GSM phone service, Reliance Communications Infrastructure Ltd., and global network company, FLAG Telecom. http://today.reuters.com/business/newsArti...ryID=nBOM311786

New Look of Reliance Infocomm Website
anujit replied to basant_jp's topic in Reliance Communications
Cleared cache. Got the same page. From home and office. Its the flash of the kids playing with the paper cup phones. -
Thats pretty decent speed considering the theoritical max on this in 18 KBps. You should expect around 11-12 KBps speed in most cities/areas. However this varies due to signal speed and congestion.

New Look of Reliance Infocomm Website

Ummm what changes the page looks the same!!! -
Dude multiplying by a factor of 4 never gives proper figures. They could be in deep **** before that. But they adjusted their debts/loans/investments accordingly to get good Q3 figures.

Such bonds are invalid as someone rightly pointed out since its been forced on you. And you entered a 6 year bond! 3 years of training! Man what the hell were they teaching you! Have you deposited any security money with them? If no. What you can do with companies like this is give your resignation letter and walk out on the day you get your last paycheck. Dont tell them anything until you get your salary credited into your account at the end of the month! Of course this means that you wont get your exit documentation which you might need with your next company. So check that out with your new company. Apart from that they cant do anything their lawyers know as well this isnt a legally valid document. So dont worry on that account. They cant get a penny from you.

How To Make Cdma Phone Work On Any Provider In India?
anujit replied to Manoj Reddy's topic in Technical / OS related
Its not a banned topic. Actually it is. Ummm maybe not. Ok heres the deal. Yes technically it is possible. No, none of the operators (RIM/TATA) permit this. So to do this you would have to buy a handset from either of them and then rip the handset codes of into your mobile from USA. And yes people here can help you with it. Ask them to drop you a message or something and you'll get a response dont worry. -
To save your chat conversations in your gmail account you have to enable the option in gmail through settings - chat. Or you could enable it through gtalk settings.
-
Yeah I think this is an awesome new feature. Its actually an extension of the "saving chatting sessions" option which all the messengers have implemented. Yahoo of course has done the best job here encrypting the conversations. Google has done wonderfully well in extending this into the email so that your chat sessions are always available! Kudos guys awesome job! But I face the same problem too. Not too many of my friends are on gtalk. Besides I think the gtalk interface is way to simple. Chatting should be more fun that that. I'd like my emoticons please. Especially the Yahoo monkey and devil

Yes I've loaded Opera too. A russian version. But by pressing things randomly I could change the language to english. This is prior to Opera giving its Mini out for free downloads. You need to get the correct server settings to access WAP through any browser and we suspect RIM's blocked that.

'Lifetime' validity not for life - Business Standard Joji Thomas Philip / New Delhi February 6, 2006 The pre-paid scheme works as long as a mobile operator's licence is valid. If you thought lifetime validity for your pre-paid mobile connection is valid for the rest of your life, think again. The plans are only valid for as long as a telecom services operator’s licence is. It has been found that licences of most operators will remain valid for not more than 15-odd years. This is because the first set of telecom licences was issued in 1994-95 for a period of 20 years. The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India has been able to unearth this during discussions with operators on the viability and sustainability of “lifetime validity” offers made by them. What is more, tariff plans for “lifetime validity” can be changed by service providers. The operators — both GSM and CDMA —have informed Trai that their tariff plans have been designed and structured keeping in view the present licencing, regulatory and interconnect user charge regimes. If any of this were to change in the future, the tariff packages will be altered. The operators have also pointed out that under existing laws, they are only required to ensure that tariffs for lifetime validity plans remain unchanged only for a period of six months from the time a subscriber buys such a plan. Operators have also failed to give specific answers to Trai queries on measures they will take to protect consumer interest, the nature of penalty for violations by service providers and whether call charges for these schemes should be monitored. Instead, operators have said that there are many variables in the market place that may force them to constantly tailor tariffs to attract new customers. “Trai, having prescribed forbearance for cellular tariffs, should not seek to withdraw this flexibility or indulge in micro-management,” they added. To the regulator’s queries on the sustainability of these offers, operators have said, “As these plans have not been in operation for a long period of time, it is difficult to conclude on the validity and sustainability of these plans. We believe that at least six months are required to come to a reasonable conclusion on the viability of any tariff plan.” Lifetime validity means life of license, not consumers' PTI [MONDAY, FEBRUARY 06, 2006 06:54:34 PM] NEW DELHI: That nothing lasts forever was proved again on Monday with cellular operators defining their 'lifetime validity schemes' as good only for the lifetime of their licences and not that of customers. With the term lifetime spelling out different connotation for different categories of people like customers, operators, Cellular Operators Association of India (COAI) has stated: "The lifetime plans of the cellular operators can only be offered during the lifetime of their license and to that extent the lifetime plans of different operators will vary in their validity duration. "The service providers cannot commit to a service offering beyond the lifetime of their license." Licences are issued for a period of 20 years. This means, an operator who received a licence 10 years ago would be able to offer the scheme only for another decade. COAI's clarification came in response to Trai's request for views on whether lifetime could exceed the balance license period of the operators and if not, would the plans vary in their validity duration. The association has also called for flexibility in these plans as and when required due to regulatory and liecensing requirement, saying: "the tariff plans that have been introduced by the operators have been structured keeping in view the prevalent licensing and regulatory regime, including the prevalent Interconnect Usage Charges regime and any substantial change in the regime may necessitate a change in the tariff package offered by the service providers."

Not unless the great RIM allows it. And I dont understand what the big deal is. They will get revenue from it. And they support the 7135 already!!!
-
No dude no luck. Actually the data has to pass through Reliance's systems first. Thats where its blocked. So....
-
Whats sad is that even after all is said and done. And the banks "know" about this. No action has been taken. Theres virtually no where you can complain to. Or do anything. Now thats India.
-
well does anyone have the ringtone. It shouldnt be mp3, any other mobile format will do!
-
Nope none of them work. And the 3120 is a GSM phone isnt it!
-
The codes are for GSM & GPRS. So most of the codes wont work. Besides these codes are usually region specific and only some of them work in other regions.

I think 1 second pulses would be more expensive than 1 minute calls. Tata might have offered 1 sec pulse. But they charged Rs. 1.80/min! Its like a buffet menu pricing. Theres value in volume to the service provider and the consumer. And really considering today's call prices (except ISD calls but they are billed in 5 second pulses) I dont think you should be bit*ching about a few seconds!
