know what.. this is the only model where manufacturer is giving over-the counter replacement for a defective unit.. good gesture to begin with, at least. I waited for 10 days for my Huawei.. can you imagine 10 days on the road without internet!!

Well, here are my observations: 1. AnyDATA modem is faster, very stable. Am using it on Vista.. Huawei never worked for more than 10 min continuous. 2. You can see total, monthly and last-session data transfer when you click on settings icon. 3. no need to manually connect from windows dialer. It works great with the AnyDATA CDMA Dialer software. 4. Do use netbooster, it really helps. Just remember to use the right level of boosting by clicking on the netbooster icon in system tray. I'm lovin' it
