  4. I plan to purchase the Motorola DROID TURBO(Unlocked) from Verizon. Will this work on Reliance CDMA without any software changes? Link: http://www.verizonwireless.com/vzw/browse/deviceDetails.jsp?deviceProdId=dev3360017#techspecs
  5. R u don of banglore? *just kidding Deactivate your evdo on old headset and activate it again.hope ur problem will solve. Sent from my SCH-I200 using Tapatalk 2 Thank you @vahidmomin. It worked and I have EVDO data working on my phone. Reliance's Zero Plan is quite good for people who need lots of data and have high voice requirements.
  6. Hey all, I am a Noob and so I request that you excuse my low knowledge levels. I just bought an HTC ONE and got the same activated through the WebWorld. They used an UMH SIM Card and cut it to the Micro SIM size. I immediately had my Voice and SMS working but have not been able to connect via 1x or EVDO. I have EVDO signal and the WebWorld guys told me since I had EVDO earlier it will automatically get activated on my new handset. My old handset was a non SIM based Motorola Photon. I request the help of the experienced members of this forum. Don Bangalore

  8. Calls Dropping on HTC Incredible

Thank you Rohit. I'll have to check if DrMuffadal can help me.
  9. Calls Dropping on HTC Incredible

I have a 2 year old Droid Incredible. Its running on Android 2.2 . From yesterday I don't get to complete any calls. On both incoming and outgoing I get to hear a hello from the other side and then the call drops. Approximately 2 seconds into any call the call drops and I get a call dropped message on the phone. I also noticed that when this happens the Signal drops to 0 and back in 1 second. Has anyone faced a similar problem. Gurus need your help in getting this fixed.
  10. Steve Jobs Dies Aged 56

Hats of to the man, who got Google to bring us Android, truly the iPhone was a benchmark of sorts in the smartphone industry!
  11. Woah! Thats a huge fine! Now only if someone started fining the pesky sales callers too!
  12. More on the OTA Release of Froyo for Incredible:- http://www.htcsource.com/2010/08/verizon-kicks-off-android-2-2-rollout-for-the-htc-droid-incredible/ http://support.vzw.com/pdf/system_update/incredible.pdf http://support.vzw.com/pdf/system_update/incredible_instructions.pdf
  13. EV-DO Rev. B provides higher rates per carrier (up to 4.9 Mbit/s on the downlink per carrier). I wonder how they will attain 7 mbps as Qualcomm has ended the development of the proposed next generation of CDMA tech (Ultra Mobile Broadband or UMB) in November 2008, as most CDMA carriers chose to adopt the competing 3GPP Long Term Evolution (LTE) standard. (Source: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Evolution-Data_Optimized ) Can some of the experts comment on the same?
