Here, there is no loss because there is no programming or Qualcomm tweaking involved. In short after RTN reset, we have to rebuild network parameters again. In 4G LTE based SIM handsets, it defaults to RUIM only/RUIM if available after ##786#. RTN menu helps especially when device parameters are messed up or device's radio signal goes offline. Mobile data breaks on some CM roms. It is believed CM 10.1.0 RC5 is stable for mobile data connectivity. Can try other CM builds for your d2vzw.

Hidden menu will not work on JB in Axiom and Stellar. adb reboot nvrestore and downgrade to R830VXALK1 stock 4.0.4. If it works its good luck, if not change the phone to NV mode, get the MEID registered and put a dummy non-working discarded gsm micro sim in the sim slot and 1xRTT and EvDo will work perfectly.

Friend locator on Google Play Store is a cell site location based exact mapper/plotter. One can add 3-5 family members to locate their last location and live location. If we travel to a distant place and if we have kept this app running in background, and later due to heavy calling or such the battery dies, this app can give proper info about the location. Indian Customs clearance process was working smooth untilled recently, what issues I faced were US exporters not declaring reasonable value of the handset, or no declaration at all. In the process, the shipments arrives in India but due to discrepancy in value, its held up or returned back to US. It was mere good luck that after Customs returned the shipments back to US, we got full 100% refund. Another alternative could be myus.com. This company does not involve ICC or PPObox, no USPS but only Fedex and DHL. New changed guidelines given to us are each parcel should contain 1-2 handsets only or Customs will confiscate the goods. It looks data goes kaput after 4.1.2 OTA update if on RUIM. Registering its MEID or downgrade to 4.0.4/4.1.1 are the options. Download the combination file from teamuscellular and place it in Odin 3.0.7 and flash in PDA, viola ! data is back. Very helpful and descriptive tutorial by Amit. Rather a real painless method.
