Lenovo dual sim and CDMA /GSM phones are on sale on ebay.in but I feel they are over priced and dated hardware configuration. Lenovo, a leading handheld manufacturer in China, but the models available to us may not be worth the price. Sent from my N5100

The built quality of Huawei C8511 is robust enough to match US standards, the other handsets you compared are of TCL, Coolpad and ZTE, which may not be as good. Sent from my GT-P3100 using Tapatalk 4 Beta

Shopcules is a good website for ordering US CDMA handsets' batteries and well as most GSM phones' batteries. Ordered 3 batteries for Nexus s 4g. Got it around 3 days of purchase. Nicely packed, infact the most safely dispatched and genuine stuff where cellphone batteries are concerned. Also ordered for Note1 and Fascinate. Its the original part number not compatible ones. COD doesn't seem to available on everything. Nexus s battery costed Rs 499 including shipping thus ensuring peace of mind. Sent from my GT-P3100 using Tapatalk 4 Beta

New Online Reservation Website For Indian Railways
dr.faramroze replied to rajanmehta's topic in The Lounge
The news indicates better IRCTC experience overall after a period of 7-8 years in a row. When I loose booking amount during incomplete transaction, I switch over to makemytrip.com, where apart from Tatkal tickets everything is booked. Users using NGpay on phones will also benefit due to increase in server efficiency. Sent from my GT-P3100 using Tapatalk 2 -
A-key cannot be written via any tools available on Sprint Samsung Galaxy SIII L710 if upgraded to 4.1.2. To re-program the device we have to go back to factory out of the box L710VPALEN. Only then Akey will be written otherwise it will show CPS error. Stock Sprint S3 :-http://hotfile.com/dl/163515142/f3ea7d6/L710VPALEN_L710SPRALEN_SPR_www.samsdroid.com.zip.html. Tutorial: Flashing Your CDMA Handset After MEID/ESN Registration
dr.faramroze replied to Sadikk's topic in Tutorial and Guides
CDMA tools will detect only diag port. Press ##3424# and enter the MSL (maybe six zeros) and enter diag mode. You have to install HTC diag drivers prior to this. When the phone is in diag mode, open your device manager and see in COM ports if it says HTC Diag Port no xx. Open QPST and make PPP username/password, net/net. Reboot and you are done. -

Samsung Axiom R830 US Cellular only Stock update 4.1.2 http://wccftech.com/install-vxbmb2-android-412-jelly-bean-usa-galaxy-axiom-schr830/ http://www.mediafire.com/?7v7zor9d379emeg http://www.hotfile.com/dl/201613344/21942be/R830VXBMB2_R830USCBMB2_USC.zip.html Please use exact odin version with the stock 4.1.2 image above. Stock image 4.0.4 This is an Odin Flashable file meant for unbricking/unrooting the device It has a pit file included *check* Freset Time *check* Auto-Reboot Pit = PIT slot Tar = PDA Download:- http://teamuscellular.com/Forum/files/file/138-stock-files/ _____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Do not attempt to change the following settings if 1x/evdo is already functional. Your radio will change signal band and/or go offline. Settings applicable to US Cellular Axiom, US cellular S3 RUIM based. Enter *#22745927 on the dial pad Click on the Hidden Menu Option to Enable the hidden menu (It will reset itself to disabled on every restart) Enter *#197328640# on the dial pad At the Service Menu, follow the options below 2-CDMA 1-Common 9-NextPage 9-NextPage 8-PREF MODE SET 1-CDMA_HDR_LTE_Only Menu Button Back Reboot Phone 2-CDMA 4-Control 9-CDMA BAND SELECT 4-Automatic We can on/off mobile data toggle on Samsung US cellular S3 and Samsung Stellar but if we turn off working data in settings in Axiom, it will require a factory reset and/or downgrade to 4.0.4, clear NAM settings by ##72786# and again update 4.1.2 for data to work. So data should not be turned off on an Axiom, working 24x7 permanently. Samsung Stellar i200 (Date: 05/06/2013) These tricks will work on stock 4.0.4 ICS stock ROM only. This is experimental, use your own discretion to explore further. To put the Sam Stellar in Diag mode On the phone please dial *#22745927 to enable the hidden menus then dial *#7284# or **87284 (USBUI) select ""Qualcomm usb settings"" and select DM+MODEM+ADB then select ok Samsung Diagnostic port will be detected. Can continue with any tools available.

For de-programming Samsung Axiom US Cellular, go back to stock 4.0.4 and do ##72786# and continue with ##data# for choosing the appropriate band for RUIM based internet. Anycut and hash codes don't work on stock 4.1.2. It would be still better if someone could put a flash tutorial for the Sam Axiom. Sent from my GT-P3100 using Tapatalk 2

Sahivalue is a nicely managed online electronic warehouse. I had ordered Note I many times from www.sahivalue.com/buy where there is a very clear description of the particular handset on sale. Their sale database gets updated every hour. Pricing is very aggressive, different pricing for differently conditioned handsets, free home delivery. Check and pay. They mostly sell in-warranty period handsets with original bill of purchase. Does not entertain the true indian mentality of bargaining.

Must Have Android Apps For Your Smartphone - Part II
dr.faramroze replied to rajanmehta's topic in Android
[APP] DPI changer for Tabs and 5 inch devices This app is developed for the Note 800 but works on my tab and other devices. 1. Install both apps below 2. Open Xposed installer 3. Click install/update (let it run until it ask to reboot) before rebooting click the Modules tab at the top and check the box for xposed app setting 4 .Now reboot the tablet 5. Once rebooted go to Xposed App settings app 6. Find the app you want to change dpi and click on it 7. Click the switch button on (right side of screen. It should turn Green) 8. In the dpi box on the left side of screen change it to whatever u like. 9. On the top Right click save button to save changes and click Yes to restarting the app 10. Now hit the launch button beside the save button to launch the app.(repeat steps 8-10 until u find the size u like) Originally developed by Nop ph473 on xda-developers, so no credits to me. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2101824 Ngpay is the app I use extensively and it skewed on my tab2, so discovered this wonderful app to safely resize without bootloops etc. Have also been helpful resizing Note II SecMMS.apk (messaging app) to other Galaxy devices. It can resize weather widgets too.- 1,081 replies

GPRS internet on BlackBerry without activating BIS, Possible ?
dr.faramroze replied to savramesh's topic in BlackBerry
Is it possible to configure Rs 94 internet on Blackberry 9330 on Reliance CDMA? Will all apps work without a BB plan? Sent from my GT-P3100 using Tapatalk HD -
Got this HTC One V CDMA registered from one of our gurus here, on Reliance. The handset asked for MSL before entering into diag mode. To read the MSL, we have to root. Did NAM settings and dump and the phone was ready for activation. Subscriber transferred his number successfully by *228. Initially 1x was working for a few days and then it stopped suddenly. This handset is on a postpaid plan without any data plan. The owner took the handset to Reliance Mobile Store and the lady made numerous calls to *228 again and again and now the handset shows "switched-off" on incoming and a beep and disconnects on outgoing. Is it possible that the MIN may have wiped off? what should be done? the owner is searching for his old RUIM so I can write it back. Experts' advice awaited. Many thanks.
