I was enjoying fair quality of services of !dea cellular Gujarat including 3G mobility. After traveling inter-state frequently couple of months, ported out to BSNL because of high 3G data roaming charges. The process of porting is changed now since many cases of fake port requests happen in thousands. A confirmation call comes from BSNL for verification after submission of documents. If the call is not answered, the port out request is treated as fake thereby nullifying the process. Awaiting final port time. Sent from Sensation XE using Tapatalk -

Re-enter NAM settings (all common on all RCDMA handsets except MIN) via qpst. If you don't know your MIN no contact your seller. After you restore your handset make sure to make a backup using qpst for an unexpected next time. Sent from Sensation XE using Tapatalk -

Because !dea may not have 3G footprint in more circles, they have entered into the so-called 3G data roaming agreement with other operators dominant in those telecom circles. There is no easy way out than spending a huge balance during roaming on other 3G networks. I have noticed even during 2G roaming on !dea Mumbai, the same the same threshold of deduction persists. Replacing apns-conf file to etc folder will enable us to add custom apns on nv/ruim. All phones do not have cust folder. After putting reliance apns-conf into etc folder, install anycut.apk. Make a shortcut on homescreen, select anycut>activity>apns. Add new apn. Enter your evdo or net usr/pass. Scroll down and look for MCC-MNC if it shows 404-00, if it shows only then your new apn will be saved. Reboot! Gifted HCL me Y2 tablet to my BIL about a fortnight back, dilemma started as soon as a week. Problems: Sleep of death, Reset function does not work, screen irresponsive and some I no longer remember. I reinstalled stock firmware with and without GAPPS, this tab works till nothing is installed. As soon as something is installed, it does not boot. No known solution as of today. Uploading a few sample apn-conf files of Sprint and MTS. Also see the modified apns-conf file for universal Reliance 'net' usr/pass. Can use the Reliance apn-conf file but rename it to 'apns-conf' and place it in etc folder by root explorer. Only remove/change Sprint or Verizon's network parameters in apns-conf.xml to Reliance. Make Reliance the default apn. Do not space or modify any other text or colon in this file. -
Ask a good mobile repair guy and check if the digitizer has popped off. If so then get a new one for Rs 1100 from Ebay GEB.

Yes Lastpass is best login records manager. Since I use my laptop only operated solely I have enabled autologin option on most sites. Lastpass can also billpay,ccavenue, billdesk payment gateway credentials. When we change login information everytime in future, make sure we change it in Lastpass at the same time or when its autologin enabled it will use up old password and block the username. Right but activating EvDo on our CDMA networks is very painful. Where a normal GSM user can switch to HSPA in minutes without too much encryption. Reliance network is no doubt very sturdy but there are very few applications compliant to 1X. In the now multimedia rich internet atmosphere, 1x is just pass class version of internet service. 3G has been fairly versatile in providing promised bandwidth slot. Only ray of hope may be Reliance's 4G LTE service. Again high level user security and encryption and the same customer loss in LTE. Evoing on Reliance using Tapatalk -

Used to get 1.7 mbps steady during peak hours on !dea cellular 3G. After 3G rates slashed, it doesn't go beyond 600 kbps. Earlier it was Rs 205 for 200 mb prepaid, now its 1GB for Rs 255. EVOing on RCDMA using Tapatalk
