Will this imported CDMA phone work with RUIM of indian Operators?
dr.faramroze replied to abhijeetv2's topic in Technical / OS related
These files have been given by a group. They have not provided any guide to unlock these phones. Install shortcut master and go to phone app and select global mode. Apart from making it spr in build.prop, itsonUID has to be terminated and the G4 carrier files mod has to be done like this https://cdmatool.ladesk.com/379711-LG-G4-Sprint-Sim-Unlock -
RCOM CDMA used Lucent network cards and ATC hardware, Tata CDMA and BSNL CDMA used Cisco network cards and ZTE hardware. Reliance GSM used China made cheap hardware, some components costing a mere Rs 60. Moreover RGSM is based on 1800 mhz hence frequent maintenance. Reliance cannot improve voice quality after some extent so they have made illegal icr to Tata Docomo GSM even where it's own network exists. Idea and Vodafone have invested astronomically in 4G components so they will any day provide superior quality. If the upcoming 700 Mhz LTE slots are bagged by idea, it will be pack off time for RCOM-RJIO alliance. RJIO has an obsession to create and expand it's LTE capacity because it feels even if they dont get enough subscribers of their own, they will trade 4G icr with other GSM operators like Videocon and Uninor. 4G monopoly of RJIO will be destroyed further when 3G operators will give narrow band 4G on their same spectrum. There is no sim card ICCID IMEI binding like Jio in other networks. Reliance will definitely be instrumental in providing cheap 4G as LTE revolution but ultimately other networks will succeed. How to use BSNL CDMA RUIM on imported CDMA phones

Every BSNL CDMA sim card needs to be made 'Pref mobile IP' using DFS software. For N919 you may additionally require to add APN manually. Sent from my K016 using Tapatalk -
You have to use the old NV method. This technique cannot be discussed further but you can do it for your own personal non-professional needs. PM me. Sent from my K016 using Tapatalk

Some BSNL centers take some fees for EvDo 'plan activation' which is permanent and one time, irrespective of sim replacements. -

Please go through the previous posts. NIC internet is default enabled on the sim card. Make the sim card "pref mobile IP" in MIP tab in DFS. In phones where we can manually enter APNS, can write user=cdma, password = cdma. Otherwise write the same using DFS on the phone. Please mention your location then I can help with EvDo. Keep sending port messages to 1900. Port codes have again started since day before yesterday. Prepaid ones are obtained in five minutes, postpaid may take a while but it definitely gets processed now. You can approach Reliance store guys and request them to send a service request to get the port code. Grab the opportunity !!

None of the Verizon Jetpacks will work. Values of 441, 946, 1877, 2954, 6828, 6829 can be changed but even after changing all Jetpacks are bootlooping on Reliance 4G SIM. It does not work as of now. These Jetpacks are LTE_3GPP_0 which is oldest protocol of LTE, whereas 2300 TD-LTE is newest so hardware will not support. NV items of band 3,5,40 on this device is inactive so rssi is also inactive.

Prepaid users upgraded to 4G GSM sim are not getting port codes and postpaid customers get port codes but are getting rejected by Reliance citing 90 day INP binding. Those who want to port elsewhere should not upgrade to 4G sim.

MEID registration is a feature incorporated in the CDMA SOFT of BSNL. The facility is not disabled in their system, rather unknown to everyone because now they don't want to use CDMA SOFT, they do all cdma subscriber data entry in a common intranet named Sancharsoft. Till then you can use RUIMs on sim based handsets. -
You might get success in porting to other network but here in Gujarat prepaid customers getting errors from 1901 and postpaid users getting codes but later rejected by Reliance. Now all have to stick around for 90 days. Sent from my K016 using Tapatalk

Inset the sim in tribute1 or Tribute 5 and program the MIP profile of 'the sim card' to pref mobile IP. With this setting, data will work on all RGE type and normal sim type devices. You have to ask them to change plan from NIC to EvDo. It is a one time procedure. AMT yourmobilenumber to 53733 Sent from my K016 using Tapatalk -
RJIO-RCOM is nothing but sacrificing a rabbit for the hungry lion. Considering RCOM cdma is completely over, wish anyone can say anything about this news report. http://telecom.economictimes.indiatimes.com/tele-talk/why-800-mhz-band-is-important-for-telcos/964. So after reading every bit of this, do we understand it was all false information? There are other similar assumptions, predictions and claims made by TT and RTN also in 2014-2015 till January 2016. http://rtn.asia/s-e/16731/what-is-the-logic-behind-rcom-reliance-jio-spectrum-trading-deal

Give the ESN of any handset like LG Tribute, LG Volt2, G2, G3 etc. It is visible in settings>about phone>phone identity. It is for formality sake, if it is mandatory do provide that. Get the new RUIM and activate it. -

FRC is of Rs 21. You should get this FRC done from the CSC. If it fails means it is not required and the connection is already bundled with 180 days validity. You can go for Rs 51 for 1GB data for 30 days. Or Rs 46 for per sec billing valid for 90 days. -
All non sim handsets including iPhone 4/4s/5C/5S can be used with EvDo on BSNL CDMA network. Sent from my K016 using Tapatalk

For EvDo activation: Only say that I want to change my plan from NIC to EvDo. It will take 24 hours because this process is uploading a new customer data entry into the older CDMA soft of BSNL. The original Sancharsoft entry remains unchanged. Sent from my K016 using Tapatalk -
