    US Cellular Note 3 does not seem to be working on CDMA SIM card. It works on NV mode programming only with inconsistent data throughput.

  3. Yes it works perfectly on 4.3/4.4.2 USC and VZW S3. Some handsets may require additional tweaking via DFS. A particular SIM series only will work for data.

  5. Sprint Note 2 L900 on 4.1.1 shows hdr pw when connected to a sim tray. Samsung Galaxy Axiom on 4.0.4 shows hdr password of the sim. Other phones can read thru root and via logcat. Sent from Samsung Note 3 N900P

    Pantech Breakout and Pantech Marauder both show Sim is from an unknown source but OMH works. Till recently data was not possible on Reliance CDMA SIM but now it works using minor DFS programming. Some Marauders came as NV only, so you need to make it RUIM only. Sent from Sprint Note 3 N900P

    Which OMH sim card are you using? LK3 is the only suitable firmware for GSM and CDMA RUIM Reliance. The old normal size Reliance SIM card works well on LK3. Tata OMH will work till 4.1.2.

    I do not have GSM requirements on the Note 3 so have never tried it. But I have a hint that two folder files namely Chameleon and some files in carrier/sys are changed. Solutions could be available on Chinese, Vietnamese or Ukrainian forums. Sent from my Sprint N900P Note 3

    Yes. The Sprint Note 2 supports RUIM with data and also GSM. RUIM data works on the go till 4.1.1. GSM bands works all the way throughout with data till 4.4.2. Sent from my Sprint N900P Note 3
  13. To my understanding all newer handsets CDMA or GSM or LTE, all heat up unusually when mobile data switched on and sometimes even during on voice call. The only solution is use Mifi or a hot spot. Snapdragon processors tend to heat up a lot though. Devices may heat up even more in the coming months. Sent from my Sprint N900P Note 3

    Connect to wifi and install SPCutility.apk and get the spc. Program the handset normally on NV mode with an obsolete dump file. Also write MDN and MIN without AKEY. Reboot and see if it is on Reliance network. After this again send the spc and 16 digit password and make it RUIM if available and reboot again. Mobile data should start immediately upon reboot. If not, then root and flash engineering bootloader from Odin. Note3 Sprint N900P seems to be working on new and old and pre-cut OMH SIM cards. Sent from my L720

  16. Verizon has launched a ditto copy of Samsung Galaxy Stellar named Samsung Legend model no. i200.PP. This phone is marketed for their so called prepaid service. US sellers are getting confused or deliberately shipping i200.PP in place of the original Samsung Stellar i200 as the handsets are identical. This handset does not have a SIM card slot and the other distinct difference is in the MEID series. This phone has a series starting from A000XXXXXXXXX. Phone ships via 4.1.2 so hidden menu and other fixes and tweaks stop here. To map the diag port, download the attached utility. Use your favorite CDMA tool and a Samsung i605 password and the SPC will be displayed. Note that the SPC of this phone is not 000000 though its Verizon. Dear Dev, Ever since 21st January till date, all mobile phone shipments new or old more than 2 are getting held up every hour, daily, irrespective of any document submission or such formalities. Depending on the US MSRP of your six phones this figures must be given to you. You may know the exact value of the phones bought by you in this shipment, there does not seem any overcharging if the phones are medium/high end. PPO has imposed one phone per box so most importers have started trying out DHL, but 80% of incoming mobile phones parcels are getting held up even if everything is in order, we have to be prepared for this extra exercise. In fact, DHL parcels are getting held up but released later, a boon for high end imports.

    Sprint Samsung Galaxy Note 3 works very well on RUIM OMH SIM of any CDMA network with 1x/evdo data.
  19. Starting with the R530U US cellular on 4.3, with multiple attempts to knock-off knox elements and its container. CF-autoroot does not work properly on 4.3. Hence the invention. This is a bat script based on adb console, it will not brick your phones in any way. Please follow the script and press the commands as asked in the script. After successful rooting, install Root explorer and search for knox and container. Around 11 files will be found and can be deleted. Note that this does not modify the knox bootloader in any way. Any attempts to do so will not be successful.     Sprint Note II L900 is a global radio phone. For bootloaders upto 4.1.2 MC2, GSM and OMH RUIM is fully compatible. For better signals on OMH EVDO, flash LG1 radio via recovery, can use MK4 rom.zip and GSM, OMH and NV mode are working. Can post in hand images. Also note that indian verison SIM tray of N7100, N7105 does fit in the L900 but it will stop reading SD card later. To easy fit the process, get a rev 4, rev 6 i605 Verizon Note II SIM tray from ebay.com.
  21. Samsung Galaxy S4 i545 will work on RUIM if the bootloader is MDK or ME7 with Hyperdrive custom ROM. Samsung Galaxy S4 R970 will work on RUIM with data upto bootloader MD9. All those phones above the specific bootloaders are CSC strapped. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2559335 This CM ROM will work on L720, I545 on GSM, NV and RUIM with data. GalaxyS4/SCH-i545/roms/JellyBeans/jfltevzw_JellyBeans_B5.zip This ROM works on RUIM with data with MDK modem.

I downloaded this file, checked its md5. extracted the huge single .exe file, put my stellar to ODIN/download mode connected with PC, fired the exe, clicked on 'Start' and it halts saying: 'md5 hash value is invalid'. Please check the attached shot. I have tried it many time, downloaded this file many times but the result is same. some basic info: Android Version: 4.1.2 Baseband: I200VRBMA1 Hardware: I200.04 I don;t know what other information should be checked. Friends, please help me root this stellar. The reliable method as a daily driver is what i have given a page backwards. This embedded odin file is not compiled by Samsung so MD5 issues will occur. There are ways to run this without MD5 but still data will go off anytime. For using 4.1.2 on the Stellar, root and use the flashable zip because it only changes the system partiton and aboot, sbl, modem,recovery etc remain as 4.0.4.
  23. Just do the above steps. Flash the LH2 odin tar, once, see if data works with the setting LTE+EVDO+CDMA and select india mode in ##3282# settings and see, there is no need for modded sim here, data works on Reliance normal SIM on Stellar. During initial boot after odin, place the Reliance SIm inside.
  24. HSG will ship upto 5 handsets new or old in one box, sometimes they label the contents as cellphones and sometimes as "pc-parts". The ideal benefit of HSG's carrier DHL is that they immediately notify us if the package is detained by the customs department. And they will themselves arrange for CHA Sunil D'souza in Mumbai and get it freed along with the customs challan. So there is no apparent risk in shipping by HSG, if at all, the shipment can become little costly.
  25. Root your phone via adb, install this zip from sdcard http://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=9390375540264796363. Its MA1 4.1.2. And if there is data problem only for Reliance then flash the 4.0.4 Odin tar file 3 times when the phone is on 4.0.4.
