  1. Requirements:- QXDM Not Required:- Root, Bootloader unlock Steps:- Part I:- GSM edge unlock 1. Select LTE from mobile networks settings. Remove SIM and switch off phone 2. Boot into bootloader mode and select BPTools, after phone boots, enable debugging 3. Map the comports correctly to QXDM 4. Airplane mode 5. In QXDM, open command prompt, type spc=000000 6. Open NV browser, look for item 441 and make it 0x383 or 0xFFF in band line, click write 7. Look further for NV item 946, write 0x0028 in band pref 8. Lastly item no 1877 and write 2622339 to rf_bc_config line 9. Reboot 10. Phone now boots in global mode, insert GSM SIM and use with EDGE data. CDMA section remains untouched. Part II:- 3G HSPA+ UMTS 2100 mhz unlock (part II only after getting Edge signal) 1. Select LTE from mobile networks settings. Remove SIM and switch off phone 2. Boot into bootloader mode and select BPTools, after phone boots, enable debugging 3. Map the comports correctly to QXDM 4. Airplane mode 5. In QXDM, open command prompt, type spc=000000 6. NV item 946, write 0x0EA8 in band pref 6. NV item 1877 and write 245891456 to rf_bc_config line 7. Full flash current firmware by fastboot with emphasis on fastboot erase modemst1, fastboot erase modemst2 8. Phone boots in global mode with HSPA+ Note:- Firmware flashing will remove unstable signal issue. All the changes will be permanent. CDMA/evdo remains as it was earlier.

    Tried to port my wife's main number to Reliance GSM 4G but the process did not go through for two attempts in December 2016. Thank God it failed. The network is going bad to worse with less than a lac CDMA upgraded customers left in RCOM.   3. This forum started for maintenance and guidelines for the CDMA user community. If one carrier stops, we switch to a different operator. I am writing this, because no one is sure of any particular CDMA continuing in short future. BSNL can help CDMA users in some regions of service and will help those who have single network handset. I am also aware that BSNL is surrendering cdma spectrum in some states but it still help us. RUIM of BSNL is hybrid type, data works on normal sim based handsets like Moto E, Moto X, Droid series etc and also on handsets like VZW Note 3, Note 5, S5, S6, S7 Nexus 6 etc. A small amount of one time programming is required after sim activation. Note that there is no *228 for OTAF and was removed from network in 2010. MIP profile type:- make simple IP from mobile ip (mainly essential) Ppp user= your10digitmin@AAAVD.in (only required in some handsets) Ppp pass= your10digitmin Dial string/APN= #777 BSNL CDMA back end all India operations are handled from Vadodara and we can directly contact them for any issues.     Other reasons why RJIO should be treated as a pass time number:- Deliberate encoding and locking of EARFCN, wrong band reporting, 850 to 1800 handover is way below industry standards. RSRQ depletes as soon as data is consumed. Enode-B controls the UE which is not a transparent approach by JIO. There is no synchronous between SINR and RSRP. 1800 Mhz is a premium LTE band used worldwide with stable throughout but strangely it appears damaged in JIO. Whatever speeds users are getting is mainly due to 850 mhz contained from Reliance CDMA 800 Mhz. Jio has the worst band 40 propagation in the history of telecommunications. Jio Join and Jio4GVoice are buggy. They give out two loud speaker damaging clicks whenever an outgoing call is made. Enode-Bs catering to 1800 have normal footprint as calibrated but 850 mhz PCI are much more than estimated. On the whole, voice is thoroughly compromised due to evident reasons, RJIO may need to deploy separate chunk for volte for stable performance. Sent from my K016 using Tapatalk

    Sprint HTC M9 does not have LTE RF NV items active of any of the three bands. UE locks RF items as soon as an overseas SIM is inserted. Sprint HTC A9 works on JIO after tweaking 6828, 6829 and 65633. Sent from my K016 using Tapatalk

    Tata Docomo CDMA adding more postpaid and prepaid plans. If a subscriber exhausts Rs 94 addon pack of 5GB per month, he can call 121 and activate another supplementary EvDo data pack eg 256 for 4GB on top of the Rs 94 recharge. Sent from my K016 using Tapatalk

  16. QCN backup is not for restoring into another phone. It can only be restored in the same ESN phone. QCN is provided to compare each NV item, side by side, along with the QCN of the locked phone so the hidden RF item will be found. HTC M9/+ requires S-Off for any LTE band modifications. A custom international ROM may also be needed. carrierpolicy.xml in the EFS of M9 will have to be modified. All in all, never try to enable Band 40 on any USC, SPR or VZW phone or be prepared to lose it because the phone will not come in diag mode later.

  19. Actually the telecom industry is undergoing massive enhancements and downgrades, reductions and closures. Just as the likely described 2G? CDMA ended in a sad ungrateful fate, all major telecom companies will reconsider their dominance in the coming future. Government has permitted narrow band spectrum for 3G/4G, so even smaller operators will offer LTE at an affordable rate. We will be getting signals according to ARP and EDBITA ratings provided by the research agencies worldwide. Survival of the fittest will be evident in few years, for rest it will be a gamble.   21. You can check the UICC number to verify it's a Reliance 4G LTE sim card. I don't know pro 3 or Reliance wipod configuration. MTS username password didn't connect.

New updated unlock values for XT1055 In QXDM (airplane mode-no sim inside) 1. 441=899 or 903 2. 946=0 3. 1877=899 or 903 4. 2954=0 5. 4548= 899 or 903 XT1055 has a problem of reverting back to LTE/CDMA auto after the above because of some build.prop restrictions. Use a modified version of Verizon Moto E XT1528 adb commands. adb shell pm clear com.android.providers.telephony settings put global preferred_network_mode 3 settings put global preferred_network_mode1 3 settings put global preferred_network_mode2 3 6. Turn off Airplane mode 7. Power off and Restart the phone This phone builds sim database in telephony.db upon every sim insertion. Each time we insert a new sim, we have to use the commands. Though with the original values of QXDM, 4G LTE works, it is not very stable. The phone goes back to LTE/CDMA auto if all CDMA/GSM/WCDMA/LTE bands are unlocked. With these modified values we ensure GSM auto prl works even after soft reboots. For XT1093 I will upload partitions of fully unlocked phone in the coming days.
