are you not getting your porting code??? Why dont u send the upc generation message and then write an email to vodafonecare.del@vodafone.com requesting them to send you your upc. Then you could ask any of your friend to initiate the process in delhi..

How they give corporate plans: Corporate plans are generally given on the following basis 1. Company named and company billed -- Connection on company's name and bill paid by company 2. Company Named self billed ----- Connection on company's name and bill paid by individual 3. Self named self billed ----- Connection on individual's name and bill paid by individual but number remains in company's CUG Suppose if some company is taking 20connections from airtel in CUG, then the guy concerned will activate the 21st connection under the same CUG but it will be billed to you. Should not be a problem for you. And 2000 Rs is too much for it. In bhubaneswar when I asked to get my number converted to Corporate plan, I was just asked by the ARC guy to give him the airtel number of any other employee whose plan I wanted to copy. Cleared all my dues and the very next day I was on a corporate plan, even without being a part of that company.. Try bargaining. you will get a good deal. And 275 for 2000 is really good.

Have you activated 3g on your number ? and are you using the correct apn for free browsing ?

and whats ur location.?? Afaik in the docomo 299 diet plat u will be getting charged on a per second basis, i.e even the free benefits are charged @ per second rate. Reliance has some plans like rtdsspl99 where u get per seconds billing with 12000 l+n seconds free but it depends on ur telecom circle whether they are providing this plan. Otherwise you can take the Rs 99 plan. Where all calls are charged @ 50p per mnt. That way you could spend 99 + 400 + taxes for 800 local + std minutes. internet pack needs to be taken extra. Please let me know your circle so that a better plan could be found
