  5. In fact docomo is the cheapest here. Full value plan for Rs 149 (local+std) + Local 1p/2 sec for 45 per month+ std 2p/3sec @ Rs 19 + 2gb data for Rs 50 + 600sms for Rs 27 = Total Rs 290 + Taxes.. i cant find a better deal than this in any other operator

  7. Kapil bhai ultimately someone comes from the verification team and screws it up all... you gave a nice suggestion asking me to talk to their head... But I felt like talking to their supremo. fired a mail to deepak@tatadocomo.com yesterday which is the email id of their Executive President asking him if tata docomo is no more interested in port ins or new acquisitions as they are rejecting such cases. I got a call today from their HO and he said that they are looking into the matter and would sort out the same :-) Hope they come out with something good :-)
  8. Kapil Bhai Address is 100% correct and I have all the docs including the passport in this address. I have been staying here for past 4 years... I am ready to pay a security deposit.. But they say that they don't provide the connection to students.. And there's no problem as long as the customer is ready to pay the bills.

  14. I understand that the call rates in reliance are 0.012p/sec in my circle. So why is it that the balance is shown only upto 2 digits after decimal. eg Rs 21.56 /- ? Whereas other operators show the account balance upto 3 digits after decimal. eg.Rs 21.561 /- Even reliance has this facility in delhi circle.. So why not in Orissa circle ? When this is taken for a single individual, the figure might seem low., But for total of 38,92,072 subscribers in Orissa, for every second that each subscriber makes a call and reliance rounds it up to the next paise ( eg 0.012 p is shown in balance deducted as 0.02p) Reliance makes a profit of( Rs 0.008 x 38,92,072) = Rs 31136.57 UNETHICALLY. Correct me if I am wrong :-)
  15. Here in orissa circle we are getting plans from operators like 2p/3sec all local and std calls ( Rs 9/- for 1 month by Voda )
  16. ^^^ boss i respect your understanding of rounding off.. but when they are charging 0.012 (= 1.2p/sec) they should not do rounding. Vodafone does not do it, neither do Airtel. And everyday suppose u are makin 10 calls, then you are DONATING 8 paise to the company by the practice of rounding

    Fly is a European mobile phone company founded in 2003 I own a Fly DS 100 or something, (dont remember the model name), its a GSM+GSM Battery is exactly same a Nokia BL-5C and is also swappable with a BL-5C. Backup is just fine, with moderate talking battery last upto 48 hours. Never read the booklet for radiation level

    Yesterday Tried sending a UPC generation message to reliance.. Got the UPC but no retention calls as yet :-( I want some good offers (if they have something left)
  20. for me too every other port out was successful and within time limit... but port out from airtel wasn't smooth..
  21. Kapil bhai after 15-16 MNPs mujhe idea ho gaya hai ki system me entry karte waqt upc verify karna hota hai I verified the upc she entered in her system and it matched to the one I got through sms.

  23. Kapil bhai, The UPC entered was correct and it was verified by me... Airtel rejected it just for fun, I guess.. As it does to most of the port out requests.. And also I didn't get any rejection message.. The MNP system is not fool proof yet.. I guess
  24. similar case had happened with me as well... I never received any rejection message but Airtel had rejected my portout request stating wrong UPC..
