dear vinay, u said you couldn't agree with me. but after that u said the same i m saying....... according to me if a person is happy with his handset then he should be on cdma network because u also saying that it will be less congested network........so better services.............so thats my point.............and according to me cdma handsets come cheaper than gsm ya but less choice of course!!!!!!

Hey why all of you want to switch from cdma to gsm??? I was using gsm from a long time and recently started using cdma. i feel cdma is better than gsm. better voice. why you all are fed up of gsm?? you are fed up of less choice of handsets or boared of reliance......

hey i got message from reliance that my rworld and mms is activated and i can use them and got settings for mms too. but mms are not going and not able to access wap. it says subscribe to gprs first. may be this activation is due to sms sent at 55100

As far as i know about MNP, gsm coustomers can switch to only gsm service provider, as reliance is providing both gsm and cdma, it can do gsm to cdma or cdma to gsm conversion........i think this may be the reason for their gsm launch...so that they can fetch coustomers of both the technologies...

You are talking about roaming.........................it is even not working in home network............................ anyways nothing mentioned anywhere about roaming...................

hi kkavvy, ya you are right it was a network problem..........from evening both cells are workign properly. i was searching on net for the solution and did nothing yet on the cell but it started working. and i have not activated GPRS yet, coustomer care is saying it is not available in GSM yet. I was saying that cell is GPRS capeble. service is not activated. i have tried sending sms "ALL" to 55100 as per GSM smart. but it didn't work. if anybod have idea update me.

network in nokia handset is full.............. it is showing no access to network..............this is different case...........

no call conferancing is not activated on my number..........in gsm process is different. call first number then put it on hold then connect second number and then in option there is something like call conferance.....

Hey value added services are working..........on my gsm call waiting, call forwarding is working. i am seeing gprs sign on my mobile...........but couldn't use because it is not activated yet....... this is for smart gsm. dont know if they have same gprs service activated in newly launched gsm, when i called customer care today evening they said so far there is no value added services(like gprs, call forwarding, etc..) with GSM, they are updating one by one, i feel gprs should be cheaper than smart gsm or any other network, atleast to attract customers...

Hey, same is the case here.............only seeing reliance singnal when reliance sim is in the mobile.......not in case when BSNL is operational.

how to activate GPRS on my CEP SIM?

so what is the prob...........purchase the sim from those places where it is available.........and use in your town...........if you got the signals.............see i am not getting signals at my home...............so sad.......

Hey today i got 2 sims from WW. numbers are in the series of 90172XXXXX. Very poor range at my house. Signals were not coming even inside WW. LOL. I made first call to a BSNL number. It got disconnected 2 times in 5 minutes call. Lets see what will happen in the future.......

Up to my knowlage..............reliance GSM postpaid is not introduced in any part of india till date............and no official announcement yet.....

I think 7.50 is remaning of your daily 10 rupess which is going to expire on 9th. as every where reliance is charging 25. You have been charged 50 so i guess 23.75 is the talk time for rupess 25 they have given you. Rest tommorrow i am going to purchase the sim will update you.

Today Reliance Started book of these sims.........i applied for 3. May be get them tommorrow.................but hey guys free talk time is for R2R only??????????????
