Hi everybody, wishing you happy holi. I need to confirm one thing regarding my LG 2030 handset. Sometimes the service area (ALLAHABAD)disappears when I check the display menu in the handset, I do so when I am unable to make a call. To the other party it gives the message that my cell is switched off. The service area re-appears after a hour or so. Is it the problem with the handset or a network problem. Vishal.

Calls will be costly if the rate per second is quite high suppose 3 paise per second = 3 x 60 = Rs. 1.8 per minute if the rate per second is low 1 paise per second 1 x 60 = Rs. 0.6 per minute or 0.5 paise per second = 0.5 x 60 = Rs. 0.3 per minute. It depends upon the feasibility of introducing such rates, and the talktime on the voucher may also vary depending on the rates.

Can any one tell me the reason tht why the signal bars on a LG set is more than that of NOKIA. As Nokia mobile phones are considered to have better reception than many of LG and Samsung Sets. I have LG 2030 and I compared the signal strength with that of Nokia 2112. Lg set had all the 6 bars and was constant. At the same place the Nokia set did not have the full signal bars. The Last two bars were rather fluctuating. Please Comment. Vishal

One more thing if one upgrades from an old handset to a new handset, along with the phone no , the prepaid a/c balance is transferred too? or not? using HCC.

Hi Wishing you all Happy Deepawali I want to know that whether Nokia 3125 have a better battery talk time, standby time and also whether the signal reception of Nokia 3125 is better than that of LG sets like LG RD 6130? What is the cost of Nokia 3125 these days. I have a LG 2030 set and want to upgrade to Nokia 3125. Would it be a wise idea to move on to NOKIA?

do Nokia 3125 have the feature of storing multiple numbers per single entry as in the case of lg sets?

Hi I am a new member in this forum. I too own a LG RD 2030 Handset, which I purchased in Aug 2004. It is May last week and my phone has the distinction to visit the LG ASC 3 times during the warranty period. I am know planning to change the handset because it may not be long that it may have to go for another visit to the LG ASC. Which handset should I go for LG or Nokia this time. But I have heard that there is a N/W Problem with some of the Nokia sets and the data cable is quite expensive as compared to LG Sets. And one thing more which I noticed at the LG ASC that was there were a lot too many sets lying there for repairs or already repaired. Is the quality of handsets in LG inferior as compared to other companies. Nokia sets are slightly expensive but would they be a good alternative to the LG Sets as also a few features are not supported in Nokia sets.
