  1. I have purchased a local cable for LG RD2030 and installed the drivers but am notbeing able to connect to R-Connect using dialup. What I am able to do: With hyperterminal, the command at+cta=30 gives OK and ATDT#777 gives CONNECT. Using hyperterminal, If I give ATDT#anyotthernumber the phone tries to dials the given number. However using the reliance dialler or using a new connection does not show any activity. Modem logs at the end of the mail after using the dialer My assumptions: The cable seems to be okay since I can communicate with the phone and the phone attempts to dial with hyperterminal. I assume thatthe CONNECT from hyperterminal shows that a connection is setup. Any clues on why the dialer is not working and what I need to do to setup a PPP connnection ?? 2. Strange Problem Connecting With Local Cable

this is the key part i think... errm.... actualy i dont know WHAT is wrong with ur setup... but those are the key messages... maybe cable. wait for a lil more, im sure u'll get a better answer 32942[/snapback] I think it is the cable but cant understand why hyperterminal communication works. Maybe the trick is to ignore all error messages :-)
