Tutorial: Activate Reliance CDMA on iPhone 4 CDMA (Cydia method)
pankaj.sea replied to SBINOYP's topic in iOS (Apple)
@ev1lb0ygen1us Jailbreaking is the most easiest part of the entire programming process. Download "envasi0n 7", open it, connect your iPhone and hit jailbreak button then follow the onscreen instructions. For PRL, in my iPhone version 00055 is working good. Regarding jailbreak removal, if you program using iDFS or iPhoneCDMATool the. Removing jailbreak or updating iOS will not effect the programming. All functionalities will work fine, but if you program using commcenter patch then upgrading will reset the programming. -

Hi there, I have the answers to your questions, so thought to write it here - Here is the Reliance's PRL file - http://cdn.ipankaj.net/download/Reliance-CDMA-PRL.zip FYI, get your MIN number before swapping number to your new iPhone, without MIN it will not work. If you have decimal AKEY then it should be 26 Digits, not 20. Cross check with your MEID registration guy. You can swap your number from Reliance Web World. Yes, 000000 will work for Sprint. Thanks -

Hey, Regarding prerequisites, you need to collect these items prior flashing - MEID Registration with Reliance Get your AKEY & EVDO Credentials Get your MIN / IMSI number from Web World or any Reliance guy. Jailbreak the phone Install OPENSSH (and AFC2ADD if running on iOS 7.x.x) Purchase iDFS credit and proceed for flashing. BTW, as far I know, iDFS is the cheapest solution for CALL, SMS & DATA. You can watch this video for a headsup on the programming process - Some information you need during the programming - MDN: Your Mobile Number MIN: Your Mobile Identification Number, Collect From Web World AKEY: Has To Be Supplied By The Guy Who Registered Your MEID/RSN With Reliance SID: 14655 NID: 25535 3G USER ID: Your_MEID@hrpd.rcom.co.in 3G PASSWORD: Has To Be Supplied By The Guy Who Registered Your MEID/RSN With Reliance Thanks -

Tutorial: Activate Reliance CDMA on iPhone 4 CDMA (Cydia method)
pankaj.sea replied to SBINOYP's topic in iOS (Apple)
it works for all iPhone 4's. ##2539 is a standard phone command so it will always work on any phone. But in order to get ##626 to work you will need a patched commcenter. Currently that is only available for upto iOS 6.1.3 (i have copy of patched CM if u want). If you are on 7.x then you're out of luck (like me :-)). To enter the MIN and MDN you will need to do one of these: - rollback iOS to 6.1.3 - or use a tool like iDFS or iPhone Toolbox Verizon phones are easier to work with since their SPC's are 000000 by default, while Sprint phone never have zeros so you have to use some tool to reset that first. I've got a verizon phone with full talk and internet (1x only although, working on getting EVDO). If you need help, PM me (I'm also struggling with my ifone 4 but happy to help) and we can talk over phone. Hmm.. Can you please send me the patched CM? I have sent you a message. Actually I have two iPhone 4 CDMA and both are Verizon's. One was programmed through iDFS (Which I did on 6.1) and today upgraded to 7.0.4. Absurd matter is still the Call, SMS and EVDO(and 1X) data are working without Jailbreaking or programming using iDFS again!! Now I am not willing to spend another ₹3200 for programming the other phone, that's why I was checking with this method. Anyways, please send me the patched CM via MSG. Thanks -
Incoming Call Display Name Problem With Iphone Cdma
pankaj.sea replied to supernova's topic in Other handsets
Hi guys, Today I have updated my iPhone 4 to iOS 7.0.4 and what I found is the Reliance network (Call, SMS & Data) all are working fine though I haven't jailbreaked it yet or haven't done the programming using iDFS again. Previously it was running on iOS 6.1. So anyways, the problem I am facing is my iPhone is unable to display the incoming caller's contact from the saved contacts. For example if someone's number is saved as "Mr. X" "09331234567" when s/he is calling his/her name is not displayed as the number shown on phone is in this format 09331-234567; so I guess the issue is happening due to the hyphen inside the phone number. How can I turn that hyphen thing off or what's the way to fix this issue? Please help... -

FYI I guess this one works only with Sprint iPhone 4 not with Verizon or others. I have tested it especially the STEP 5 (Dial ##2539 enter AKEY number, then dial ##626 enter spc 000000, then enter ur existing reliance number(MDN), then enter MIN) and it's not working on my Verizon iPhone 4. Any idea how to update NAM manually on Verizon iPhones? -
Hi, I have using an iPhone 4 CDMA (Verizon) from past couple of months. Tutorial: Flashing Your CDMA Handset After MEID/ESN Registration

Hello, I was struggling to program an HTC 7 PRO (Model no. PC93100) to Reliance. I am able to put the network parameters such as MDN, MIN, AKEY etc by entering the "Service Tools" mode within the phone by dialing ##778#. However, no idea how to upload the Reliance PRL file within it? Can any body help me by telling a software name using which I can upload PRL file within it? Also, I have a PRL file which was downloaded from DFS and used in iPhone 4. Will that file work for HTC 7 PRO? Thanks -
Means, other iPhones like 4S or GSM iPhones have the same issue?

Hello Guys! I have a rgsm and a cdma also, but I am having problem with rgsm network for a long time! Customer cares are unable to process or the engineers! In one word "The most third class network in Kolkata circle is Reliance Smart and the best is Reliance CDMA". Can you tell me(if there is any way) how to solve network quality from my mobile! I've only problem with rgsm but cdma is working greatly for 4 years... Help Me! Pankaj
-
Hi abhisathe! We can't solve this problem! Bcoz this is a internal problem of their system! So you will get it when their system is ok! But this is such a operator whose server is down 95% time!
-
No! But in our area (Serampore), there is no trouble in BSNL! I can get connected to any operator at the first chance!
-
I think Reliance should close RGSM in place of harassing customers! I have leave RGSM! Now I'm using BSNL! The Best connection ever and I'm making a call to any BSNL number @ 5 Paisa per min only! Which call has / will never be provided by RCDMA, RGSM,TATA, AIRCEL, VODAFONE or AIRTEL in peek hours!
-
I think it is not! I'm using my smart connection for 2 years and till the start they are telling YOUR PROBLEM WILL BE RESOLVED WITHIN 72 HOURS! Now think, 4 six months have passed. I think their network not so strong to provide service to a large number of users! And the most amazing thing is that, There is two network station near my house in Serampore (WB, Kolkata), one is of Vodafone and one is Reliance Smart but after working for 2-3 months, this station is out of SERVICE!!! Now what you will tell for them???
