3. Most people come into custom roms and dont really *understand* what the forums are saying to them in the terms of doing things the right way, often things get misinterpreted as i understand but really you don't!!! This is the case when it comes to custom roms installation, new comers think yeah i'll have a go and go for it without even understanding the basics of custom roms, wrong move, a little research didn't do anybody any harm, and is time well spent when it comes to taking a gamble on bricking your phone. The main thing I've noticed is that people don't understand what a full wipe is and just go with what they see... Going into clockwork mode and just selecting wipe data, wipe delvic cache, wipe cache, is not a proper full wipe, its like wiping your *** with **** still in your bumhole untill you wash it, no no no, this method doesn't remove the old system files, there still there untill you carry out a format of the system partition, if you dont do this and install a rom over it you will have problems with the rom you just installed. The correct procedure for doing a full wipe is below.

Go to clockwork mode recovery. Volume up, power button, and home button all pressed together for a couple of seconds
Go to mounts and storage and select it.
Go to format / system and select it. Scroll down to format system and select yes.
Go to format / data and select it Scroll down to format data and select yes.
Go to format / cache and select it. Scroll down to format cache and select yes
Go to format / cache and select it. Scroll down to format cache and select yes That's it no need to format anything else, just go back and install the rom
from sd card. This is the correct way of doing a full wipe everything is erased and formatted ready for the new rom, no old system files etc....
11. Must Have Android Apps For Your Smartphone - Part II

Although Samsung’s III smartphone set new benchmarks in terms of hardware and sheer power, the software features packed into the device also caught the attention of ] far and wide. Yes, there was S – the Korean company’s answer to iOS’s – but some of the most significant usability enhancements were a little more subtle. For example, a long-standing peeve of is how the backlight of the screen can often timeout when you’re in the middle of reading a web page. Since devices set their timers exclusively on lack of touch-based interaction, you often have to repeatedly tap the screen in order to keep the light shining on your screen, enabling you to view your content without squinting. Of course, the solution has always been to keep the backlight on for longer amounts of time, or perhaps indefinitely, but most of the time, this means one accidental touch of a button while the device isn’t in use can result in swift draining of that oh-so precious battery juice. Samsung amended that issue with Smart Stay the Galaxy S III, and now, if you’re holding the device, the smartphone earns its moniker by staying awake for the duration. That’s all well and good for the early adopters of the quad-core offering, but it doesn’t quite help the hundreds of millions of Android users rocking an older device. Say no more. ISeeYou, an app developed by Marco Roccagli, brings the Smart Stay idea to those running Android 2.3 or higher. There is a paid, , which allows the interval in which the front camera searches for you to be altered, while the free version doesn’t offer any customization abilities. That said, the latter iteration will probably do the trick for most, and providing your device has a front-facing camera, it will detect your face and keep the lights on when somebody’s home. The PRO version is 99 cents, and is certainly worth the investment if you’ve had enough of your device’s display letting you down. It may take a little bit of extra juice, depending on which device you’re rocking, so my advice is to try out the free version – linked to below – for a couple of days first before parting with your cash and going PRO. 12. HTC EVO 4G LTE on Reliance CDMA

    Nice Review Sir
  13. Although, when initially manufactured, smartphones are designed to work with a particular type of SIM, the narrow things down by locking devices down to their particular network. The process of trying to unlock can be difficult indeed, and as such, consumers look to the expert developers and modders to offer a solution. Picture the scene. You upgrade your device on one carrier, let’s call them, for argument’s sake, AB&B, but your daughter – who is far more technologically-orientated than yourself, wants your shiny new device, to which you begrudgingly oblige. Unfortunately, your daughter is contracted with another carrier – Dash – and of course, you both want the to work with her carrier. Herein lies the problem. You call up AB&B, requesting they unlock your device. You’re contracted to make the payments anyhow, so you would think, perhaps, AB&B would happily unlock your device – even if a small fee is incurred. Unfortunately, that’s not how things play out, and although some carriers and circumstances allow a carrier unlock to be achieved, chances are, you’re going to be stuck with a locked device, which then becomes the clichéd expensive doorstop. The developers, without whom, I don’t know how we’d cope, come up with varied unlock solutions, and although a wait is often involved, there’s invariably light at the end of the tunnel. For those rocking an i9300 strain of the Samsung you’re among the luckier folk who can now unlock their device, and the clincher is, it gets as complicated as installing an .apk file from the Google Play Store. As you may expect, you will need to have a rooted device, and although precious date is backed up prior to the unlocking procedure, the auto-restore feature is not yet fully operational, thus the unlock solution is labeled as a beta at present. Still, it works just nicely, and if you’re rooted and raring to go, hit up the link below and you’ll have your i9300 Galaxy S III unlocked in a matter of moments. Note: Do not install on variations of the S III other than the I9300 model. It will not work. Download Voodoo Galaxy S III SIM Unlock [Google Play link]

People Who havent Used Apple Seems angoor nahi mile to angoor khate hai, My practical experience tells Iphone OS is much more Stable than any damn other OS Once ur phone is jailbroken, Iphone is just like a beast, Apps Quality is Much more better on iphone & plenty of apps available Major issue with Andorid is the basic email app, Which is not at all par for a Smart phone, They Should have kept a Unified Email box than a Seprate app for Gmail & Other Emails, Which has made me Shift to iphone as handling email is much easier & simple on Iphone. Copy Paste on Browser & Email app is not at all good on Andorid, Because many time u need to copy Text from browser or native email for SMS These are some basic drawbacks Smartphone Should be able to Make ur Work Easier. Why the Hell Samsung Want to Copy Everything from Iphone Middle button ( Android Touch Buttons are more usefull but Still samsung want middle button ) S Voice Icon layout Many others, Cant he develop his own, Today got my Hands on S3, Phone is Super Light Weight Plastic Feel is not good, Some metal would have enriched the Luxury Other Function are same as Other Android with added Gimmicks which people will hardly use, Felt HTC one X to be better in hands
