You are very much right...reliance just wants to make money...while airtel/hutch/idea etc are there for charity? My dear, every businessman just wants to make money and thats it...maybe a few rare exceptions are there. Anyway, the point mentioned by vijaykv is quite valid.

Similarly, in GSM, many nokia phones like 6680 are WCDMA enabled, even though there is no sign of 3G launch before 2008. So the point is: Don't ask what is the point. There are people who are ready to pay for any technology even if it cannot be used.

No. LG 3330 does not support mp3...it might support voice ringtones though, in .qcp format, but not sure...

I enquired about it and came to know that data card users can migrate to any plan incl unlimited usage one. So why don't you take any plan and then place a request for migration...

yeah, I don't see anything wrong with reliance in this matter. When they newly launched their data cards, they were giving unlimited for some rental, now since they are well established in this market, they have discontinued it. What is wrong in this? If something is given for free (or unlimited) once, then we start believing that it has become our right to get it free always whenever we want it. Cable TV staretd as free to air, sms was free initially, there was 440 voucher in prepaid RIM, there were unlimited onnet packs for postpaid RIM....but none exists now...atleast for new subscription.

SIM card readers are availalbe in the market just for this purpose. Try searching on ebay.

Try formatting the card...preferably in a card reader and not thru' phone. This might solve your problem.

For your info: Wallpapers are now charged @ Rs.5. As you said you downloaded 5-7 wallpapers, you might have been charged for 6 wallpapers which explains Rs.30....yes whether they were free or chargeable is still a mystery!

Good analysis ashoksoft. 16K is really too high a price for 6265 when 6680 is available for the same price in GSM and n-series starts just above the 16K level.

In today's world where tech advancements are taking place at such a rapid pace, any investment in an electronics/IT goods is a always a bad investment...if you think that way...I bought LG 6330 @Rs.5500 a few weeks ago, and then LG-6000's price was dropped to Rs.6000. Anyway, 6275i appears to be a good handset, better than 6265.

Don't know about sandisk in particular, but in general, if you want good sound quality, then go for original branded product. Regarding FM, my experience with Creative Muvo (512 MB) is that FM reception is not at all acceptable while on the move. And when I connect it to my Yamaha Stereo Amplifier (alongwith Sony Floorstanding Speakers), even the sound quality does not appear to be upto the mark, although its OK while using earphones. So a good test for sound quality could be to connect it to a big music system...

Just imagine how many customers would there be on mtnl garuda?...very very less compared to airtel, reliance, hutch etc...in fact not even comparable! So now compare the cost mtnl would have to bear by giving unlimited internet on garuda with how much reliance would have to incur in case it decides to match mtnl???... So don't expect.

Transferring the card to another person's name seems the only option for you.

You have not mentioned which year 2007 or 2008???? Can't expect in 2006 atleast with Reliance.!!! Nice one Jatin
