There's no dildari in this dear. You would get only Rs 150 talktime on 360 voucher with lower rates...same as other normal prepaid. while other gsm fellows give full talktime...BUT.......without lowering the rates.

Data cables for LG 2030 & 2130 are same. I was using an original USB LG cable with LG 2030 (bought @Rs.1200 from webworld). It had a convertor box and there was an additional port on the side of the box, so that a travel charger could be connected to it for charging the phone while surfing. So if you could get hold of any such cable , it should solve your problem since the charger of 2130 is "travel" type (i.e. unlike the desktop charger available with LG 2030).

So I paid bills of appx Rs.25,000 total in 3 months... and when I checked my credit limit after 5-6 months, it was around Rs.30,000. But now, it is reduced to much lower amount as my monthly usage has decreased to Rs.500 per month.

And if your monthly usage is much higher than your credit limit, you could always get your cr limit raised by paying additional deposit amount.

Well dear linuxguy, Every operator has a credit limit Since you recently got your hutch connection, have you actually run your bills to 25k without barring? If yes...then maybe it's a corporate connection, so limit is set very high. Why do you think credit card companies set a limit on their cards? Does it mean that credit card users are highly susceptible to default on their payments?...No....anything, when given on credit, always has a credit limit attached to it... It's there on all operators and it's nothing to feel bad about if we receive a call when reching 80% of our limit. And by the way, when I bought a new FWP connection, I also got a call telling about tarrif, credit limit, how to raise it etc & blah blah...

I guess it should start right from the begining of the month, and not after 1 gb has been consumed. Hence it means you have only consumed 4 Mb or maybe, unbilled info is wrong (very high probability!)

Cellular licences are given for 20 years, so if Airtel got it in 1995, it could be valid only till 2015...yes only in a circle where airtel obtained licence in 2001 could the vlaidity be till 2021, but definitley not in Delhi, Mumbai etc where it started in 1994-95. ...and similarly how could idea offer validity till 2035 unless it obtained license in 2005 and started services thereafter?

You are correct about marketing fundas etc... But now the question is: Are LG handsets as bad as being portrayed here...I have been using LG cdma handsets and normally don't have problems as far as basic usage is concerned (i.e. only voice calls and few sms). Even r-connect works perfectly with good speeds. Network is OK unless you are a miner working undergruond in a coal mine. And believe me...my LG handset worked throughout with full signal strength while travelling in Delhi metro in underground section (maybe due to some kind of ventilation ducts or whatever). For low end users who just need to receive incoming calls and make a few ocassional calls, LG handsets are indeed OK (although not as good as Nokia).

Vishal, I don't think they are as same as you think...yes UI is similar for both...but 5130 is Java based and 5340 is BREW based. In 5130, there are only 3 (or 5..don't remember exactly) slots for R-world ringtones & folder is hidden for bitpim while in 5340, you can keep on saving as many ringtones as wish as long as memory is free and upto 100 in numbers.

Yes, LG6000 accepts qcp. I have tried it myelf on a friend's phone. But there are file size issues, so try with an even smaller file, maybe <20kb

Yeah, i too have faced similar problem. I think there's a problem with the drivers. I switched to serial cable for my 6130, it is much more reliable. And easier to use, as I don't have to unplug it every time i use other USB devices like digicam/printer/flash drive/handycam etc ( I have only 2 usb ports on my P3 machine)

For me, serial cable is better than usb in case of 6130. It is much easier to install and never gives problem of PC hanging during usage.

Not possible for 5130. You can save ringtones & wallpapers only through R-world.
