Yes, it's been launched, price in the range of Rs.5000 to 5300 (as per info from Webworld)
-
Seems like it does'nt have external lcd display and also, phonebook has only 2*200 names capacity. And, No r-connect, no R-world!

LG has put up the Sync software for LG 6500 on lgmobiles.com...seems like it is ready for launch...

Dear khs123, Refer my post #2 above for detailed alternative procedure where you don't need LGKDP & Unicdma. Just bitpim would do the trick...Otherwise, you could also follow vishal's method. And yes, I used LG 6130 serial data cable (I don't know whether its the same sold by indicom).

lgmobiles.com for LG cdma...but bare minimum info is only available...

Dear abc, why do you need to write all your posts in BIG, BOLD & COLORED text? Writing in normal font would also ensure same level of response to your queries...everybody here is out to help each other and learn in the process...

Excuse for going a bit offtrack: Why just mobile phones...just look at the specs of any decent music system, be it sony, philips or any else, here 10% distortion is an accepted norm while in the US, the norm is of the order of <0.5% . Actually, these mnc companies are dumping outdated or inferior models in our markets.
-
I agree with you Honest, All LG models are not cheap quality...just see the models they launch in US or other developed countries (I mean check out on the net) and anybody would change their opinion about LG. But its a diff story here in India.

They do convert postpaid to prepaid but first you have to clear all outstanding dues. But, why have you not paid the bills? b'coz of wrong billing?
-
Could be due to RF noise generated due to operation of mains switch. This RF interference might be affecting the network signal. Try changing the position or orientation of your phone... And does it happen only from one particular switch or any switch?

One India / One Nation / One Rupee Plans by various operators

And I don't agree to this point. If, according to him, telephone becomes less affordable for mid & low-end users, and at the same time, long-distance tariff falls, then using a PCO would become much more lucrative option than maintaining own phone. What do you guys say? -
I think such restriction is very much possible. If there's no dialer, but only 3 built-in dialling "combinations" (coud'nt think of better word here), then there's no way you could dial any other numbers, safely assuming there is no data port available in such a handset.

Let's hope ringtone download starts working very soon....it seems they are testing the ringtone apps on 5340. Regarding saving 100 ringtones, yes it is possible because brew based handsets (atleast I can confirm for Lg6000 and LSP-350) have shared memory for downloaded apps like RTs and wallpapers, so if you save very small sized ringtones files, you could keep on adding more & more ringtones until the memory is full. I myself have saved more than 20 ringtones from R-world in my LSP 350 (FWP).
-
One welcome improvement... this set suppports 160 char sms as per the attached brochure. But should be confirmed after actually seeing a live handset.
-
Which data cable are you using? The one I use with LSP 350 is a straight USB cable(i.e. without any convertor box in between) and it always works fine. But yes, sometimes when i shutdown my PC without removing data cable, my phone shuts down and restarts, once.

I think, it is their cdma network that does not support fax... But their wireline would definitely support fax...mind you I am talking about their wireline here, Not FWP (which is a wireless).
-
I guess its a testing number for something like "hello tunes"
-
Thanks fo rinfo. I too am facing low mic volume problem in my LSP 350, would soon upgrade to ver B04
-
Fax feature not supported on reliance's network. So drop the idea dude...
-
Yes, I know. It has shared memory for ringtones, so that we could keep on adding new ones until memory is full. I too have 18 ringtones on it. It seems the latest brew based models have this "shared memory" advantage...while the older ones had limited number of downloadable ringtones (say 3 or 5 in LG's and 12 in samsung A563). And another method of making bitpim read the file system in LSP 350 is as follows (provided you can lay your hands on a LG 6130 serial cable) 1. First install the FWP drivers with its normal data cable so that you u are able to use r-connect. 2. Now get a serial cable of LG 6130 model(IMPORTANT: it has to be a serial cable) 3. Connect fwp with the 6130 serial cable (refer point #2). And yes, the connector pins are compatible for both these models. 4. Open bitpim and select the correct port on which your fwp is connected. 5. Use bitpim, try with a few different LG models in bitpim's phone settings if not detecting in the first go. You would definitely be successful without much effort. Pl do give feedback if anyone is successful with my method.

Ditto for my LSP-350R. It is also brew based, other text based apps work fine but.... sometimes...for ringtones, it shows " loading please wait......" and sometimes, i am able to save the ringtones, usually after clearing (resetting) r-world memory via phone menu.

That is the point, it would be as good as new. And also, I don't think they claim their warrentee policy to be of "Unconditional Replacement", so they would first try to repair/replace the component, and only if it does not solve the rpoblem, do they replace the entire set. Generally also, this is valid for any brand of electronics goods.

Free Download Manager Downloading Fm Begining On Resuming Download
amtrag replied to drali's topic in General Technical Discussion
Maybe the server does not support download resume or it could be configuration issues at your end. Use Getright, its an adware but very good for downloading large files. -
It is very much possible, and so many cases of cloning are actually happening on reliance network...one of the reasons why a few "sensitive" topics were banned on this forum.
-
Since it is only one day old, ask the LG Service center guys to replace it under Warrentee, free of cost. First give it a try..........probably they would do it.
