  1. Reliance CDMA on Sprint Galaxy Nexus LTE

Need urgent help. My Gnex is trying to download a system update (98MB size). But after downloading the whole file, the file fails verification and then download starts afresh. It is thus going into downoad loops. For the time being, I am keeping mobile data off. How to get rid of this loop?
  2. @shanusmarty, By tracking, I assume you mean realtime tracking. As Hitesh already expained in his edited post, the device will need some kind of data channel to send over the location info. You can tether this phone to your working phone for data connectivity. If you are OK with offline tracking, then refer post #8
  3. Reliance CDMA on Sprint Galaxy Nexus LTE

I am on stock ROM 4.1.1. Am contemplating trying out new ROMs (like CM or any AOSP variants). Need to clarify a few doubts before I proceed. 1. Would I need to do any programming post flashing? 2. I am used to flashing ROMs on my DINC, is the procedure same on GNEX too? Or any special care is needed specific to this phone?
  4. Motorola Droid Razr M (Global)

Thanks Rajan bhai. Finally succeeded in downloading India maps after purchasing from sygic.com.
  8. Discounted/Free apps on Market/Play Store

I downloaded "Sygic: GPS navigation & Maps" from GPlay (not map my India) I have not yet purchased the license, thought first try and if it works, then I'll purchase. But it is not showing India in the list of countries for map download. Although various other countries are there. What to do? Or shall I download Map my India app?
  9. Kindly try adding photos, price and links for usefulness to the readers... Otherwise it serves no purpose. OK. I thought its just a bragging thread lol ! 1. The fridge cost MPR / Actual Paid: 42K / 36K with exchange. Was looking for upgrading from 220 lt to a 350 lt. Had almost finalised either Panasonic or Samsung. But noticed a Bosch sitting next to these, and it was love at first sight for both (wife & me) of us , I mean the fridge! Its interior space is way too more than other comparable brands. Since space was the most important consideration, we immediately booked this. 2. AC: MPR / Actual Paid: 37,999 / 28,500 with exchange. We were more inclined towards Hitachi, since already have one 0.9Ton Hitachi at home. But then found that Sharp Invertor ACs are considered among the best. Also, this Sharp invertor model had an EER of 3.63 vs 3.43 of Hitachi 5 star model. And the icing on the cake was that Sharp was cheaper by Hitachi by 4K. Will be getting delivery of both on 14th, the Sunday.
  10. 1. Bosch 358 litre refrigerator under exchage for old LG 220lt 2. Sharp 1.1T Split Invertor AC under exchange for old 1.5T CArrier window AC.
  11. Samsung Nexus 4G CDMA, Number with name not display.

Nexus S is a different model from Galaxy Nexus. I have the Galaxy Nexus and it does not have T9 in stock dialer. Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Tapatalk 2
  12. Samsung Nexus 4G CDMA, Number with name not display.

Sandeep, I have the same phone i.e. Galaxy Nexus LTE. This being a pure Google phone does not have any bells & whistles. In short, it does not have T9 dialler that even the stupidest entry level phones have. Install "exDialler" app from G Play. It looks and feels exactly same as the stock dialler but with added functionalities. It will solve your problem.
  13. Its probably faulty charger or grounding issue. Its happened with me on train (Rajdhani). Otherwise, never ever faced such issue at home or office. I regularly use any charger (Samsung, Palm, LG, Nokia, HTC etc) with my DINC and now Galaxy Nexus. It is OK as long as the charger is able to supply the requisite current at a stable voltage of 5V. The current varies with time from few hundred miili amperes upto 1 amp depending on charge level of battery. In case of Apple products, one of the charger pins is set at some particular voltage (like 3.5v or whatever) and if the phone senses that the voltage is different, it does not accept that charger.
  14. Offtopic: I like your signature Dhiraj. Back to topic: I received my xtremeguard within 20 days appx.
  15. Reliance CDMA on Sprint Galaxy Nexus LTE

Thanks nik. Rather than movies, I was actually thinking of playing game like NFS on 42" screen. And my TV dates back to "pre-smart" era, so no wifi, dlna etc!

The app is only available in US. You can download the apk from Rajan bhai's post. Sent from Samsung S3 using Tapatalk 2 I tried from Rajan bhai's post which is giving parsing error. I got interested in this one because its from Qualcomm.

Does wifi tethering (i.e.hot spot) work on this phone? Need positive confirmation. I am considering this handset as one of the options.

  25. They cancelled my order last week only. I had ordered RCA to Mini Stereo cable (Belkin make). Shopclues sent an email after about a week that the merchant has cancelled my order. Both my money as well as cluesbucks were refunded. However, it turned out to be a blessing in disguise and I ordered the same product by different merchant for even lesser price
