Pl post (or atleast tell) the speedtest result. The max speed that you are getting. SInce the network info is shown as 1x EVDO Rev A, it appears to be genuine EVDO and probably the problem is from network side.

I have been using my cars without ANY sun films since the last 20 years without any issues in the sweltering North Indian heat. I fully support this sun film ban. It's all a matter of habit. Manufacturer rated tinted glasses provide the best VLT and safety. It depends on the car and how powerful is its AC. When you travel in a Maruti 800 in sweltering 45 degC heat, even the cool air coming out from the ac vents gets heated up before it reaches your body. In such scenario, sunfilm is the only saving grace. (My dad still drives a M800). But of course, law is law and now there is no option left but to remove/not have tinted sunfilms.

I would beg to differ that any normal user can survive ... actually he/she can just survive, nothing more. I have listed points that are important for any normal user. How can one survive with these shortcomings? (I have not used any Mango phone myself and assuming that all points listed in OP are true). 3. No mass storage mode. 11. Cannot use any MP3 file as ringtone except those with strict constraints. 20. Alarm clock cannot work when phone is turned off. All Nokia Symbian and Meego phones can do this. 22. Only photos allowed as email attachments, documents not allowed 24. Cannot stream audio from video to Bluetooth devices (No A2DP). 30. No always visible status bar for battery life, signal strength, carrier, 2G/3G wi-fi, Bluetooth on. 43. Cumbersome dialing with no smartdial. Not able to enter alphabets into dialler for name lookup. 44. Cannot save draft sms messages. 65. FM radio doesn’t work on speaker. 69. Cannot open zip or rar files received as email attachment. 76. One volume control for all functions including media playback, ringtones, alarms, notifications. 78. If you receive a text message when talking on the phone an audio alert will blast your ear at the full volume set. All other phones will give a soft beep. 87. Cannot handle USSD codes necessary for prepaid users to obtain services. 88. Cannot filter call history into Missed Calls, Received Calls, Dialled Calls, Recent 99. You must be very lucky to have a faulty electricity meter. If that's not the case, immediatelly approach Guiness Book. Could be true also. @v@nit: What is the temp setting you keep your ac at?

I would also suggest Hitachi split. A 5 star should be better because usage is moderate, not low. I have a Carrier window ac in one bedroom and Hitachi split in other bedroom. And the Hitachi is definitely better. Lesser noise and better & uniform cooling.

The difference must be atleast 20-30% to be actually experienced by an user. The only advantage for Rezound could be the larger screen size.

Most of us use sms lingo in vernacular languages (like Hindi in my case). So I doubt how much useful will it be for us. I even keep auto correct disabled because otherwise it interferes with the words.

Ideally, updation of ROM should not change the data settings. On my Incredible, I have switched many ROMs but data was always working out of the box after every ROM change.

I installed ICS ROM "Abduction" from xda, yesterday night. Its working fine till now, except occassional force closes. Although I also prefer sense based ROMs, but unfortunately this one is without sense. But still I am liking it. It can be tried once.

By the way, its sensor and not censor

This Anthem ROM is very good with Sense 3.5. But still has lots of bugs (am on v2.3) and some lag. While v3.0 is released, but for the time being I have reverted to Stock Plus (sense 1). I feel, this phone with single core processor, is just not designed for Sense 3 type of heavy ROMs. But will once again give a try to the latest (and hopefully bug free) version of Anthem.
