battery is an big issue with this kind of handsets, they are more like chines, if i am not using nokia or BB, i always keep a spare battery with standalone charger. both are needed.

Yes its a generic problem in RGSM, Even in pune specific area were out of range for a 24hr. It will get back as soon as their tower start working.

try to talk with airtel customer care and sort it out, but if u cant threat them you have weak point there, if u say take back the connection i am not going to pay, they will solve ur problem quickly. by the way airtel is one of the fraudster around.

@Jim Bo Bob Briggs I am with you in this 100%, But in India you will not find much option in hard disk, mostly we get only one or two models per company. finding a specific drive is not possible for end user. Can you please let him know which drive you suggest for his computer, as he is on P-ATA. As I am related to computer sales and service i can say only few P-ATA models are available in India. you can get more option in SATA. But his current computer dose not support SATA, One more option is to use converter, but again speed will be not same.
