Hi, Step-1 you need to download Pc sync tool for you LG RD 3100 from this link :- http://www.lgmobiles.com/PCsync/RD3100_Sync_20070319.exe or you can go to LG website and download it http://lgmobiles.com/index_cdma.php Step-2 Install LG desktop software on you pc connect you handset to PC, Sync between mobile and PC, then you will be able to export the phone book to a simple .CVS format. Step-3 If your new phone support pc sync you can simply transfer it back to new phone without any problem. (It depends on which mobile phone you purchase, but .CVS files can be transfer to almost all new phones)

Hi, Nokia 6275 is a CDMA handset, so it dont have IMEI number, IMEI is only for GSM mobiles. CDMA handsets work on ESN or MEID, in your case you will be having ESN, which you can find under the battery, or by code you mention.

it is not technology limitation, it is cdma phone's software limitation.

I think you should confirm this sms details from RIM CC, This sms may be a HOAX, If this CC says your IMEI is invalid, rush to a service center with your original bill. If they say your IMEI is valid ask them for written confirmation. For getting the written confirmation you may have to meet some senior person in service center, also you may have to argue a lot for getting it.

Here are the steps for Making Classic 2258 RUIM enable. List of require things 1) win 2k or XP PC with USB port 2) Data cable of FWP 2258 with drivers (both comes free with FWP) 3) CDMA workshop 2.7 Step -1 Do all physical connections and install data cable drivers, It will create a virtual Com port on your system. (Say after installing driver it took com port 8) Step -2 close all application and start CDMA workshop. From Main screen select com port 8 (or select your port which connected to your FWP) Then click CONNECT. Then click on READ. Step-3 Select SECURITY tab, In SPC, Select Universal EFS Method. Then click on READ. One box will pop up, Select NVM_0002. Then click on OK. You will see one screen with lots off dots, in between dots you will see continues 6 digits. (It will be like ............320530......) Write down these 6 digits, This is your SPC code. Click on OK and close the SPC screen. In SPC box type the 6 digit SPC code. and click SPC button. Step-4 Select "OTHER" Tab In R-UIM section Select Config = R-UIM only and click on WRITE. One box will appear it will say programing successful . . then click on OK. Step - 5 After completing step -4 , close CDMA workshop, Switch off your FWP, insert R-UIM and power ON your FWP. And you are done.
