MDN is your reliance mobile number...MIN can b obtained using NOKIA handset... U can put ur RUIM(SIM) Card in Nokia handset and dial *3001#12345# Menu will open >> go to NAM1

I think U r correct... Actually daytime I was getting very good browsing speed so I didn't bother to check n thought its EVDO....Just now I checked n I feel its 1x... will see tomorrow again n then confirm...but if u see earlier posts of gaurav in this thread u can see he is using EVDO on GA02... Also I dont think GA02 will support only 1x..I mean how can an upgraded radio will support lesser function... For People whose update process terminated due to root I remember while updating I got the message that root lost and then it asked me to flash su again and I selected yes and update went smoothly... All happened within the update process.

Dear Amit, can you plz tell us which radio you are using in your galaxy nexus .? Its automatically updated to GA02...

Today I also got OTA...was getting notification from so many days and everytime it failed but today automatically updated. Everything working fine including EVDO. My nexus was rooted. Love the camera features.

Hahahahahah...truly said Rajan Ji.... Regarding your points last time I transferred number from evo3d to nexus but net was working on evo without any number. But after some days it stopped. I didn't notice but may be after evdo activation on new number it stopped. Thanks for clarifying.

How to deactivate EVDO???...Tried with 20 CC people still no one understands EVDO...Does activating evdo on new handset will deactivate it automatically from previous handset?

4 years passed from evolution of android handsets but still no sign of breakthrough for battery except razrmaxx... :-(

My fear is for deactivation period during MNP process... I cant find the thread or may be I had read somewhere else but think about the scenario if your old operator suspends the service as per process and new operator did not start the service...It happened in some cases...In this case Your number will not be reflecting in Reliance database so you will not be able to release your RSN....I may be wrong...Gurus can clarify... But why to take risk...transferring your number to RUIM will take few minutes...

Transferring number to RUIM is very easy. Go to webworld and ask cc to transfer your number to RUIM.You have to fill up MDN retain form. After transferring the number you can put request for RSN release.

Rajan Ji..you are using which Hboot Version... I have tried 1.57, ENG 1.04, 1.50 none are working with this ROM...

Rajan ji what a surprise... From last 5 days I am reading various posts on xda to root my evo3d so tht I can use custom ROM. Unfortunately I have updated to ICS without S-OFF and now only way I see is Wiretrick :-( I believe I will loose all the things and all the parameters I have to programme again. RIght?? I dont have A-Key. :-( But your post is tempting me to go ahead :-)

Here in Colombo I am using Dialogue mobile data card.... Maximum theoretical speed said is 1Mbps. Surprisingly the real speed is not much different.. I stream videos and Online TV smoothly like I used to do in Japan... Shame on Indian Telcos....

1. My vote for Rajan Ji & also Dr. Vinay for moderator. Both are well known, helping,highly trusted and most of the time active on forum. 2. I think criteria of number of post for selling should be divided in 2 group : A. Bulk sellers: AA. Minimum number of post 200 (Also Buy sell posts/queries should not be counted same as general chat) AB. Minimum 6 months membership. AC. Valid address proof and ID proof. AD. First 10 selling post one by one only. Once a buyer gives feedback than only next selling post should be allowed. Now days if we look many people are coming for selling only. I think members should refrain buying from such sellers by their own. Its like Chinese phones No investment in R&D only business. Technology is growing due to brands who are investing a large part of money in R&D. Same applies to Rimweb sellers vs new sellers also. B. Regular Members selling one or two piece for upgrades or for community: For this category criteria should be decided by moderators. In my opinion current buy/sell guidelines are enough for this category. A buyer guidelines also required now such as posting feedback within prescribed timing for each transaction should be mandatory. Above all are my personal opinion and no intention to hurt anyone. Keep surfing Rimweb, where u will find such community/people in this world
