  2. All about LG 6130 - Camera Phone

Dear friends There ought to be some uncanny reason to the variation in the performance of Reliance Internet. I have an LG LSI 110 Cordless Phone, and it gives speeds from 15 to 18 KB/sec, please note this is DOWNLOAD SPEED IN KBYTES PER second AND on a consistent basis. AND there is NO confusion, the downloads I did were in excess of 20 MB and speed was always above 15 KB/sec. That means it should be connecting at 230 kbps or more. And that too with a data cable which costs Rs. 20! ( I discovered this accidentally when the USB cable for my Canon printer fitted the LSI 110! ) Now I have taken a LG RD6130 and want to know if this one also gives that high a speed or is there a difference. The techies, please shed light on this!! Rohit <POST MOVED!>
  3. Rconnect With Nokia 3105

Hi I will relate my experience of installing Nokia 3220 GSM as a modem. The most important thing is that setup for DKU 5 has to be run BEFORE INSERTING CABLE in USB Port. Otherwise this won't work. Then install PC Suite for Nokia, the latest version, you can get it from www.nokia-asia.com. In that there is an option for configuring your phone as modem. You get the driver separately from the Nokia site. THE IMPORTANT THING IS THAT first go to CONTROL PANEL -> SYSTEM and see under ports what port your Nokia Adapter is( COM 1 OR COM2 etc). Then go to modems, select Add Modem and "Don't detect my modem" should be checked. Then select the driver for your phone modem manually and run installation. It should work. Hope this helps you. Rohit
  4. Can I Use Rim Sets With Other Cdma Operator?

TO ADMININSTRATOR What do you think such an unofficial forum is for? To get answers to questions which Reliance does not give. Not to know of new offers which in any case come in all papers and websites. Anyways, using the set on some other network is NOT illegal, because all handsets are taken on downpayment now, and the set is the owner's property after purchase, so he has the right to do anything with it, including using it with some other operator. As regards your forum and your imprudent action, I would urge you to let such discussions happen so that newbie users like me are able to make full use of the real intended purpose of the forum. Frankly, I don't see it to know about the JAZZY new offers! I need solid answers. Btw, I am using a Tata phone, please tell me how to use it on Reliance network. Or program it. If you can't post it on this forum, then please mail me on rohsum@yahoo.com Sorry, but such discussions are not allowed here. 31998[/snapback]
