Thanks for your input. The model which I selected is of Canon S5IS, use 4 AA cell. Second choice is for Panasonic, but has all models with Li battery only. Personally I preffer AA cell. Rechargeable cell are there since long and it will be for years...... My only worry for battery was, due to our less usage. Professional photographer can use battery, but we might be using camera once in month or may be less sometime, based on occassion. So in such condition, I think Li battery will be a problem. Just wanted to reconfirm with friends like you, so that I can go ahead with Canon model only. Nowadays also seen that most of the digital camera new models are coming with Li battery and not AA cell. Don't know why???

Just wanted to ask which one would be better - 4AA NiMH rechargeable cell or Li battery. ?? In some camera they use NiMH rechargeable cell and others Li battery. If the use is not heavy - may be once in a month which one shoule we go?? Please suggest based on experience if you people have.

I would like here to request 2865 users if they are facing similar problem. So that we conclude that this h/s has really such issue. Earlier I was using 6235 and not experienced such problem. I think it is network related problem and not h/s related. Let's see what others experience says. We can't hope anything from Reliance for this. As suggested by you, by forwarding calls will it not be dropped the way it happens in Reliance. It will not be pratical to carry two h/s.

From where you purchased A710IS ?? Please updated some review if any users of S3IS or A630.

Thanks for all suggestions. One of my friend has not activated caller tune and he also facing similar problem. Yesterday I have received call from Reliance Survey diviison, and I informed about all this problems. They asked 5 questions to answer in different ratings. Last q was will you suggest Reliance to your friends- I said never. Reasons - No good h/s, call charges for missed, no reply, n/w problems..... Let's hope something works good for us. I have changed my h/s from 6235 to new 2865 on 1st May. Does it related with h/s ?? I really don't think so.

I am using Nokia 2865 from 1st May 2007. From last 2 weeks I experienced that few peoples calls are automatic get disconnected. They can listen to my caller tune and it gets disconnected after sometime, and I don't receive any calls. After some time same person call I receive and they complain me that why you have disconnected my call. The problem is I have not received his call earlier. I informed this to *333, last week, yesterday and day before. They just accepted my feedback and said there is some technical problem at Reliance, which shall get resolved on 19th June at 5.00 p.m. But yesterday when I met my friend at 9.00 p.m. he complained that at 7.00 p.m. I have disconnected his call. But actually I have not received any call. During all this time my phone was ON and in full signal strength. At 9.00 p.m. when I tried to call my number from the same friend at 9.00 p.m. i received call, so what happened at 7.00 p.m. My major calls are coming from our customers and due to this many of customer has complained me that I am disconnecting their calls. Creating me loss in business. Today *333, informed me that this problem is due to my Nokia handset. I checked with one of my friend whos is using Classic 201, is also facing the same problem. Anyone has experienced such problem, please update, and also what could be the solution. I don't think this is related with handset.

I got all the details of Canon 710IS, A640, A630 and Nikon P5000. With this also a good camera S3IS. (6MP, 12X Opt. Zoom) Anyone using S3IS on our forum, please give share your experience here. I have finalised A630 and S3IS. The rate available in Surat (without B/W) A630 - 10,000/- A701IS - 12,800/- S3IS - 15,100/- I think looking at features of S3IS, at 15k this is worth having.

This particular handset is not available in mumbai atleast. Please check in ur locality if they have it, if yes how much they asking. Yes you are correct. Our company has demand for 15 nos. 2865 and only 2 nos. has come. The phone is also not available in Surat. I checked with one of my friend, who has WebWorld and he told me that there is a shortage of this handset everywhere. In this range without camera there is no model available. Let's hope for Motorola good handsets.

Where is it exactly. Please give some near landmark. What about Alfa Electronics, Irla Place, Near Ville Parle.? Year back my colleague bought Nikon L1. In December'06 I enquired for Nikon L5, @ Rs. 12,500/-. Month back in Surat it was @ 11k/-. In my view Nikon L5 will be the best choice. In canon most of the higher end models has movable display and any such movement may tend to damage. (Of course in Camcoder we have always such display and not that has damaged, but still I would not prefer such mechanical movements)

I am facing one problem in 2865 that the auto keyguard doesn't work many times. I have tried with different settings from 15 seconds to 25 seconds. Sometime keypad get locked at defined time, but manytime it doesn't. I have recently purchased this phone. Does any one experienced such problem ???

In my view it is difficult to convert human voice to Midi format. Still you can use MP3 to Ringtone Gold, convert this file to Midi and select the device to use for Midi.

The issue is that most of the sites that provides Nametones , has a Preview utility which allows you to listen to the desired nametone , and here is where we need to record this Streaming music!!! In the procedure you mentioned after clicking on "Record Audio from Speakers" - what it will do. From where to get that back ground music and also our name. Do we need to speak our name by own???? Good phone, but you wont find much user in our forum. Before going for 6235, I asked many things for 3155, but no one was giving reply. Technical specs. sounds good, at comparable price.

I don't know how to make this available on 6265 full screen. But 6235 resolution is 128x128 and 6265 is 320x240. These games could be for 128x128 resolutions only. Don't know how to make it use for higher resolution.

Thanks. Actually I wanted to get the already installed games in my phone to PC. B'cos it's 2nd hand phone and few good games are already installed, which I want to take in my PC. I got reply from Punnet that for I need to use Mobimb, and with that I can play anything with Java applications.

I have connected 6235 using data cable. I also have PC Suite. In PC I could only see contacts and gallery. I want to install games in to 6235, but Games, Collection folder is not accessible through data cable. Please let me know how to see this folder in PC. I could successfully download ringtones, wallpapers, but how to download games, pls. let me know.
