You are locked with Reliance, and you will hardly get 1000/-. Try at diff. places. If got more go ahead quickly. It's very diff. to sell used phone in Reliance, and impossible to get good price.

The market price for 6155 is @ 9500/- so I am looking at price of @ 6500/-, subject to condition of phone.

Any idea for Nokia 2875 or 2865. Why this phone are not shown under Nokia India site ?????
-
Any idea about launch of 2865?????? This phone is available on Nokia - Asia Pacific site and also on China site, but not on India site. So I feel Nokia them self has decided not to launch this phone in India. Please let me know if anyone know about this. Because now since Nokia has decided not to manufacture further new CDMA phone, the option for India are very limited. On Asia Pacific site still we can keep some hope, but looking at India site nothing new to come.

Pls. search for mp3 to ringtone gold. What is the latest price of this handset???
-
What price you are looking at. Any specific reason for selling this phone????
-
WCDMA and CDMA are not same. 6280 doesn't support CDMA n/w. Pls. refer Nokia site properply. You can enjoy 6265 in place of 6280 in Reliance.

In Nokia Asia Pacific site we can see few new models including 6275i, but in India site only 6165 colour h/s comes. Any idea about launching of these new h/s of Nokia in Reliance. The new h/s really rocks. Let's see when Reliance think to launch these phones, b'cos now it's enough to launch LG phones with only just new outer body. Well new Nokia phone shld also come to good price range. Hope, hope and still hope.............

It's true, b'cos we are compressing 4mb song to 400kb, how can we expect same result, but if we get atleat good result than OK. In such limited memory ( & ofcourse limited choice with Reliance) we have to be happy with limitations only. And my limitation is to be with Reliance, as our company forces.

AMR song sent to your email ID. Pls. let me know how it sounds on ur 6235. Actually I also dislike clam-shell and never used so far. B'cos I believe any mechanical movement gives trouble in long run. But the price and feature made me to think for 3155 and also the choices are very limited in Reliance. Because if u compare both you need to pay 2600/- extra for VGA camera and IR, and also consider smaller display having less colour scheme and less ringtone cords. But I could not found much people on 3155 on this forum. Why u don't prefer clam-shell, any specific reason.. pls.

Thanks Puneet. Have you tried installing songs in AMR in 6235?? How is the quality. B'cos on my laptop it sounds well even 500kb size AMR song, so I believe it should sound good on phone also. Since we have memory problem have to think this option only. I feel 3155 will be better than 6235, if we just minus camera and infrared. Also price wise attractive 5800/- compared to 8400/-. It is wrong to ask here for 3155, but no one is replyin gin 3155 thread, so asking again here for 3155 - whether 3155 also support AMR songs??? B'cos it has 2 MB more than 6235 and since no camera the space can be used for installing AMR songs.
-
Does this phone support AMR ringtones. Can we also install songs in AMR format and can be play back. B'cos AMR song take hardly 0.5mb and so few songs can be stored in this phone. Also is it possible for 3155 phone also......
-
Recently I checked price of 3155 which is 5800/- and 6235- 8400/-. I feel at this price of 3155 it's best priced. If we compare 6235 and 3155 only VGA camera and IR is not avlb, but than display is better 128x160 pixel and also 262k colour support. memory is also 12 mb. I want to know can we download S40 applications - games in this phone and also MP3 songs. I have Ringtone Gold thru which one can compress MP3 songs to @ 1mb and so few songs can be stored in this phone. Does it suppoort such down load facility thru cable?? Not much review and reply for this phone so I believe few ppl are using it. Please who so ever is using, give your reply on above. Is there separate spk like we have in 6255 or internal like 6235??
-
I feel Nokia should give one piece of 6265 to Tanveer at Free of Cost with condition to put review, of course it will be much detailed the way he did for 6255. Great effort......................Nokia should appreciate him
-
Thanx dear. Does 6255 folder hinge has problem in general?? In our 6255 review everything found good. What type of n/w problem you faced??? Only big display and memory card in which I can store games and songs attracts me towards 6255. BT may be usefull. 6235 at 8300/- seems to be very much high prices. Can anyone tell me about battery of 6255 ? My daily usage is @ 1.5 to 2 hrs. 6265 high priced (at least for my budget), 6155 OK, but no memory expandable, 6235 Not much feature, but also high priced (fit in my budget, but not features),,,, so only option to 6255 - New h/s out of budget and so compromising with s/h. I can not leave Reliance, as it is compulsion of our company. What to do in such siuation. In GSM we have lots of options and can get much better h/s at much better price.

I am planning to change phone. I got confused between 6235, 6155 and second hand 6255. Through my friend I can get 6255 at @ 7,000 in good condition. So thinking to go for it, as it has all features. Pls. suggest is it worth to go for 6255??

Reliance Communication To Enter Gsm Services
Jatin replied to abhay's topic in Reliance Communications
Thanks a lot for clearing doubt on RUIM. Now from all this discussions, I got answer for my initial question that in future RM will not be in a position to support existing CDMA customers to enter in GSM with same 93 series. -
Reliance Communication To Enter Gsm Services
Jatin replied to abhay's topic in Reliance Communications
Please explain more on R-UIM. Does it mean that if today we have RUIM enabled handset in CDMA and the same can be used with GSM tomorrow using RUIM. Than what abt SIM of GSM? Does it mean we can use GSM handset in CDMA with RUIM? Which present Reliance phone supports RUIM options?? -
Reliance Communication To Enter Gsm Services
Jatin replied to abhay's topic in Reliance Communications
Thanks, Amtrag. I think this R-UIM option will make bridge between CDMA and GSM. As Puneet said Time will only tell, b'cos what RM is planning we all don't know. Sometimes they come out with solutions which we feel technically not possible, and sometimes they don't provide solutions which are very obvious and simple, so I think let's wait and watch and see what is there in their mind...... -
The Biggest probelm is that they are not launching this phone. :'( Anyway more 10 days, Ok No prob... One more guess....

Reliance Communication To Enter Gsm Services
Jatin replied to abhay's topic in Reliance Communications
Thnx. I think I should wait for RM to start GSM network in Guj. I feel the same will be by end of this year. Your reply made me not to think for changing handset atleast presently. Any Idea which series RM is offering to UP, Bihar, W. Bengol, where they are already having GSM network also. B'cos as you said, Reliance might be offering some series which is alloted to them. If these places where Reliance is offering presently GSM service, the series starts from 93, than definitely at other places also they will offer 93 series only and so in future we can migrate from CDMA to GSM without changing our number. Which is definitely well accepted by all. Anybody pls. know Reliance GSM network numbers presently, pls. let us know. -
Reliance Communication To Enter Gsm Services
Jatin replied to abhay's topic in Reliance Communications
Since Reliance is going for GSM network at other placed also, will they be in a position to offer same number what we have presently in CDMA in GSM if we convert from CDMA to GSM. I am planning to change handset, but would prefer GSM service of Reliance, due to obvisous adv. of more fredom, but only if Reliance can offer same number in GSM what I have presently in CDMA. I think this will not be possible, but just want to check with you guys. Please let me know this so that I can decide whether to change handset or to wait for GSM service. -
Thanks Punit, You explained with appropriate example. Sometimes we dream something without using brain. But thanks you people are there who shows reality.

Is reverse possible?? I mean can we convert GSM phone to CDMA. Nokia is charging very high in CDMA models compared to equivalent GSM models. So if we can convert GSM to CDMA than we have vide variety of phone and not to depend on Mr. ADA's mood to launch useless models in their network.
