    Phones S-OFF with Revolutionary will not work. Try http://www.htcdev.com/bootloader to S-OFF your phone. If you are already Rooted using Revolutionary on 0.97. Do S-ON (Going back to Froyo, Flashing hboot manually & back to GB with hboot 0.98). Than use http://www.htcdev.com/bootloader method.

    The only reason of handset Bricking while OTA is updated bootloader (hboot), Revolutionary S-OFF does not work with this version. This update either won't install or you will end up with Which Screen & HTC. I have just downloaded this update, But have not tried flashing it since I do not have any handset with me...

    ^^^ Yes. Bionic Does support GSM, But not all SIM work with it.

    Good New for TATA & MTS users. Seems like Droid Bionic can function fully with OMH Card with 1x & EVDO Data. Testing still in progress. Will post results next week when I have new handsets in hand.
  9. Rajan bhai, Its not about MTS only. Its with everyone. I am using TATA DOCOMO Gsm in Data Card on 3G WiFi Router. There is NO way I could answer the call or reply or send a SMS, Still my balance was deducted for VAS activation.

    I got CDMA OMH 1X data to work on Reliance CDMA & TATA CDMA on Droid Bionic. Could not test EVDO due to non availability of EVDO coverage. Handset coming up for Sale shortly.
  12. Droid Bionic is the first handset which got GSM working and this made way for Developers to try Droid Razr & D4, But it does not work with all SIM cards. Options are limited. May be we get a Custom ROM soon specially for GSM. Till than its not so reliable. Yes CDMA omh does work flawlessly. Data can also be made to work.

    root the Phone and use pppd-ril.options method. open & edit "/system/etc/ppp/peers/pppd-ril.options" change username password both to 10 digit mobile number.

    ^^^ If you have Flashed 2.3.5 F9 there should be NO requirement for removal of any Chinese Application sinces most of them are already removed. and there is a mistake in file I have posted here, But since I have been very busy & due to non availability of good internet connection, I have not updated my post.     Simply S-OFF using Revolutionary & Flash Chinese ROM. S-OFF on HTC means Root. Installing Superuser & Binary is secondary & is done after Root, But not required in your case since you want to change ROM.

    Nothing to do with MEID. ignore it. Flash Chinese ROM and use any OMH UIM card.

    Yes. Its possible to flash China ROM after you are S-OFF on Verizon stock ROM, No need for Superuser or CWM if you want to load Chinese ROM since it would remove both.

    Fastboot issue comes only due to Drivers & HTC Sync (May be). And it has nothing to do with USB Debugging. I have S-OFF more than 100 Inc2's alone using revolutionary, but never faced single issue.

    I also got a phone having "Stuck at HTC" issue. and once I had all files downloaded, it took me only 25 minutes to get it back to Chinese ROM. Flash Stock Froyo ROM -> Change hboot -> S-ON -> Flash Stock GB (0.97 hboot) -> Revolutionary S-OFF -> Chinese ROM.

    ^^^ Issue with Drivers. Install latest drivers. And do NOT ask for link. Find it.
  21. Try SBFing (using RSD Lite) the phone again to latest version and than try rooting again. Also make a note of your MIN since all programming would be lost once you SBF Droid 2 Global.

    Root the Phone. Attached Root Explorer. modify pppd-ril.options in /system/etc/ppp/peers/ changer username password to internet internet. re219w.apk
  24. They have GSM coverage in all Villages. but NO CDMA. They are NOT promoting CDMA. I am really feeling bad since I have ported my number to TATA CDMA. It should have been GSM.

    @ 128kbps its not a Broadband even. atleast it should have been 256 so that I would call it a Broadband.
