Hi, I am also facing same issue on TATA DOCOMO CDMA. While getting a incoming SMS from a number with 0, it shows as D. Example: 09893240402 --->>> D989324D4D2 Issue being faced on -- OMH RUIM, Have 2 CDMA Numbers (9329795553 & 9200183977), Facing same issue with both. Handset --- HTC Incredible 2 & Motorola Droid 3. Have been using R-CDMA OHM & GSM on both above handsets with no issues. Any solutions ?? -

Once the AV guys rejected my request for Reliance postpaid in 2005 since my earlier connection had delay payment due to Huge billing issues. I requested to the WW Head, He gave me connection without any deposit & initial credit limit was 700/- which was raised to 10k after a year. -

If you have Passport & are staying at same address since 4 years. Do not tell them you are student. Talk to their Head. They should agree against a Security deposit. -

Zoosh Broadband / Augere Wireless Broadband India --- They do not have a website yet for India. They are planning to launch services in month of May. Against a Security deposit they can always provide you a Postpaid connection. Many service providers Reject Postpaid connection due to AV & its in their rights to save their interests. -

I suggest you to remain on Chinese ROM. Its good compared to Verizon ROM. Have not tried camera or Video recording with CM9 on Droid 3..

For CM9, and Verizon Stock ROM to work with CDMA OMH: Replace radio of XT883 into XT862 ROM using Fastboot. Install Safestrap if you want to flash CM9. After flash the ROM in Safestrap (Don't ask me how to safestrap, Google it), replace the /system/lib/libmoto_ril.so & /system/etc/ppp/peers/pppd-ril.option with xt883's, edit /system/build.prop, changes: ro.mot.eri=1 >>> ro.mot.eri=0 ro.cdma.nbpcd=1 >>> ro.cdma.nbpcd=0 ro.telephony.gsm-routes-us-smsc = 1 >>> ro.telephony.gsm-routes-us-smsc = 0 ro.cdma.home.operator.isnan=1 >>> ro.cdma.home.operator.isnan=0 find ro.kernel.android.ril=yes, and append these 2 lines below that： persist.ril.rssi.enable.param6 = 1 persist.ril.baudrate=230400 reboot，then in dialler input *#*#4636#*#*，select Phone Information -> CDMA Only (PRL) Remember most custom ROM are Rooted. For Stock ROM Google for Moto_Fail or Droid 4 exploit and use them.

The Keyboard is by far very sweet, The best I have ever used on a Phone. Touch is sometimes sluggish & non responsive due to software issues. But otherwise Great Phone. I am using Droid 3 with CM9 ICS on TATA CDMA OMH# 93XXXX555X. Edit --- After flashing new 906 update Touch has improved a lot and much responsive and New CM9 ICS is Great... Enjoying it.

I tested data for Reliance. Tata will also work. Since this Phone takes everything thing from UIM & shows the same in "About Phone". Operators supporting PPP/HDR data with username & password alone will work. but you can't set Proxy settings required in WAP as of now, testing & looking for available options. Its world Phone.

Now guys & owner of Droid 3.. a Great News for you.. I got ICS CM9 working with Droid 3 using CDMA OMH with DATA with help from XDA member mvp3. I am using it now. What else would you ask for ?? Will post it shortly. It seems no one has Droid 3...

Reliance gave me Retention offer, But I asked them to email it to me since the offer they gave me last time turned out to be fake. Hence playing safe this time. But 3 days, No email from them. And I really want to port out since their coverage is pretty bad at my home town. -

I have strong feeling that it would be a success. I hope to get my number ported to Tata CDMA in next 3-4 days, Will try this at that time or buy a pre-paid UIM to try this out tomorrow. As such Pre-paid users have Rs. 94 pack which supports HSIA on handset without Proxy. But nothing such cheap for Postpaid. -

Noted your point. Incredible 2 & Droid 3 have option where you can enter Proxy & Port details while creating APN. I hope that must work for all Android Apps. Can you try that & confirm ?? -

I am also going to use TATA OMH on Droid 3. I have opted Postpaid, So I hope I should not face this issue. And won't I get 3G with Rs. 43 & 94 packs (http://cdma.tatadocomo.com/internet-postpay-packs.aspx). I need to do following settings if I want to use WAP based packs -- Server Dial = #777 User Name = wapuser Password = wapuser Proxy Server IP = 172.23.252.15 Proxy Server Port = 9401 Means Proxy / Port = 172.23.252.15:9401 Please correct me if I have mistaken. -
